"It's not safe here," she said, completely emotionless and unaffected by what she was doing to us.

"Excuse me?" Rhea said, leaning in closer to Madame Lawrence. Her face showed nothing but offense and confusion.

I guess that's what all of our faces must've looked like. Anyone would if they were being kicked out of their home. Madame Lawrence said we couldn't stay at Acrylic, and that we had to camp in the forest for the last night. She couldn't even give us a valid excuse!

Madame Lawrence sighed, "It's not safe in the school, you must stay in the forest tonight."

I caught the sound of Ashton's teeth gritting together slowly, "Why? The equinox is TOMORROW. We need all our rest."

"I know, that is why you're sleeping outside."

"But why?" Ryan asked.

"Because there is danger, but it will only show in the morning. Goodnight children, and good luck." Madame Lawrence turned and walked away, and back into the school. Her words echoed through my mind over and over again. Then, a horrible thought occurred to me.

My body started to shake with fear, and I turned to the rest of the group, who were all staring at me strangely. Well, everyone but Regina. I turned to face them, bringing my blue eyes to theirs. My family's.

"Why does it sound like she's saying goodbye?" I whispered.

The new, blindingly green grass flattened under my gray Ugg boots as I danced through the forest. My twists and twirls became more elaborate as the dance came to an end, and I stopped to see a figure standing in front of me, clapping.

"You're so good, Natalia!"

I chuckled, "Thanks, Raven. It means a lot."

She shook her head smiling and made her way over to me, "If you weren't the Moon Child, you should've persued this. You're amazing. It makes me want to get up and dance, even though I'd look like a rabbit with two left feet."

"I bet you're not that bad..." I started, but then abruptly stopped when she started dancing. Her feet wobbled and shook from underneath her as she wiggled around the forest. I burst out laughing at her attempt. "I didn't know someone could be that bad."

Raven stopped and faced me, her face expressing a look of fake anger. "Hey, I'm not that bad!"

"Ya, you kind of are."

We turned and all three of us laughed again as Ashton entered the clearing with a smirk on her face. She wore just a simple grey tank top and dark jeggings with black converse. Her blond hair floated gently in the Spring breeze, and her brilliant emerald eyes showed pure amusement. But there was something else in her facial expression, something that was eating at her.

Raven turned to me, sensing Ashton's vibe too. "I'll see you later Talia; I have to go help Griffin with some stuff."

"Don't have too much fun with him," I smirked, and her face flushed as she scurried away back into the forest. When I couldn't hear her footfalls anymore, Ashton turned back to me.

"I had a vision, Natalia," she said, twiddling her thumbs awkwardly. She looked like she was in deep thought, and her eyes didn't really meet my gaze.

I looked at her expecting, "And..? What is it Ashton?"

"I know who my mate is. And I found him yesterday, at the beach. He was sitting alone, and... I don't know he was just so kind to me I..." she blushed.
