Chapter 36

'Did you want to come over?' i read on the screen of my phone.

'Yeah, i would love too!' i reply and stand from my bed. My sight is going black and I'm fading out. I got up too fast i think to myself as i regain my sight and continue to walk down the stairs.

"Hey mum, is it okay if i go over to PJ's house today?" i ask.

"Yes thats fine, what time?" she replies.

"Im not sure, ill check," i say and run back up the stairs and call PJ.

"Hey! What time should i come over today?"

"Anytime you would like, maybe in like an hour or so and you can stay as long as you want, my parents just went to work, so we have the house to ourselves. Not that I'm suggesting we do anything but yeah, we can do what we want, whatever you want to do" He replies.

"Cool, thanks, so ill be over in like an hour"

"Sweet, ill text you my address if you need it." he says

"Okay thanks, see you soon!" i say and hang up and run back downstairs.

"He said in an hour, i can drive there! Ill just get some breakfast and get ready"

"Wait, hold on. Will his parents be home?" she asks.

"Um, im not sure. I think they have work but I'm fine mum, trust me." i say back.

"Well make sure your home before 5 because we are having a nice dinner with skylars family. We are going to tell jade about us, do you think its a good idea?" she asks. This is a big step.

"Yeah, i guess she should know sooner than later before things become more serious," i reply.

"Yes, i just wanted to say thanks for your support with all of this, i know its completely random that I'm dating your best friends dad, so thank you darling," she says softly.

"No mum! Its okay! Im excited that your dating Michael! He is a really nice man."

"Thanks darling, go get ready and i can make you something for breakfast," she says.

"Okay," i say and go back upstairs. Oh my gosh! i only have 40 minutes to get ready and have breakfast! what am i going to wear! Wait, i have to stop panicking, its just a boy, ill just wear something casual.

I open my wardrobe and pull out a pair of white shorts and a navy blue strapless tube top. I then go over to my bathroom and apply a thin layer of foundation then cover it with powder. It still looks natural, just cleaner. I then neaten my eyebrows, apply mascara that extends my lashes and brightens my eyes. I then add a nude lip colour. Perfect, not too heavy but not too bare. I put some flip flops on and head downstairs with my handbag. I have to leave in about 5 minutes so i take the cheese toasty that mum made for me for breakfast and head to the car to put his address in the GPS.

My car leads me to a house along the river to find a big modern house with a long driveway leading to the garage around the back of the house. Alongside the driveway has luscious green grass and a small circular fountain with beautiful gardens surrounding it. WOW, his house is really nice. I am greeted by a friendly smile

"Hey, you look really pretty" he says and i blush. Every time someone compliments me, it always makes my day.

"Thanks, you look pretty good too i guess," i say and laugh. "Im kidding, you look really nice too haha," i say whilst looking at his Blue polo shirt and brown pants.

"HAHA" he says and gives me a hug then grabs my hand and leads me inside. My eyes are filled with marble benches and glass doors. They have beautiful vases and big leather sofas and the place looks so glamorous. His dad owns a mining company after all so they would have all the money in the world.
