Chapter 28

Sunday was the same as Saturday. Overcast 'and wet. I decided to see Skylar. We spent the day watching scary movies and talking about how perfect Callum is. I wish I could tell her about Luke but I cant. He is so perfect. I wish I could tell her that I had my first kiss and that I went to second and third base!

I wake up on Monday morning feeling excited to see a text from my new boyfriend. 'Morning beautiful, I cant wait to see you at school today, I will be there early if you wanted to pop into my office, ill be there around 7:30'. That's so sweet of him to think of me every morning.

'Yeah, ill see you then!' I reply. I get dressed and put my hair in a ponytail and go downstairs and have a banana smoothie.

"Hey mum, do you mind if I go to school early today? I need to do some study for my science quiz today."

"Yeah, that should be fine, what time?"

"Maybe around 7:30?"

"Yeah sure, we will leave in 10 minutes, did you want to drive?"

"Yeah, I only have one hour left until I reach my 100 hours! Then I can get my license on my birthday! I'm so excited mum!"

"I'm sure you are!" she says.

We get in the car and I clear my mind before I start to drive. I drive perfectly. We finally reach school and I pull up the car and get out. I spot Luke's car in the parking lot and I feel excited. There is barely anyone else here except for a few of the teacher's cars. I walk into the school and head to his office. There are no other teachers in the hallway, so I'm guessing they are all in their office. I walk down the hall and turn the corner. His office is all the way at the end on the corner. It's good because it is where barely anyone usually is. I knock on the door and try to open the door but its locked. "Are you in there Mr. hemmingsworth? Its Macey." I feel weird calling him Mr. Hemmingsworth now that I'm so used to calling him Luke but I think its better to call him when there could be anyone around the corner. I hear the door click open.

"Hey! Sorry the door was locked, come in" he says and leads me in the office closing the door behind him and locking it once more. As soon as the lock clicks, we both run to each other and I jump on him and wrap my legs around him kissing him. "Gosh, I feel like I haven't seen you in so long, I was thinking about you all day yesterday," he says

"Yeah me too, Skylar came over and we were watching movies, but what we were doing on Saturday was much more fun," I say and wrap my arms around his neck as he sits on his desk.

"We definitely need to do that again soon," he says and smirks. I do the same. He kisses me again.

"I cant stay too long because people will start arriving at school soon" I say sadly.

"Are you free after school? We could do something," he says.

"I cant, my two weeks of detention starts today, remember"

"Yes, of course. That sucks, but at least its only for half an hour every afternoon, do you get to have your birthday off?" he asks.

"I'm not sure, probably not. I should go ask Mrs. Malls"

"Yeah good idea," he says. "Well at least I will see you in second lesson, I'm teaching your class about more algebra"

"Oh great" I say sarcastically.

"Hey, your lucky you have me and not another teacher, plus, I can tutor you if you ever need help" he offers. That's so sweet.

"Yeah, that would be great! So I better get going, I might go see Mrs. Malls and see if she will let me have detention off on my birthday" I say.
