Chapter 30

I walk to my locker thinking about how perfect Luke is and how he bought me a brand new necklace, that was so sweet of him. When I reach my locker, I see Skylar waiting there with a small box.

As soon as she sees me, she runs to me and gives me a massive hug. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MACEY!!!!"

"Thanks s!"

"What did you get for your birthday?" she asks excitedly

"I GOT A CAR!!!!!!!"

"WHAT! NO WAY!!! DID YOU ACTUALLY! THAT'S AWSOME! WHAT TYPE OF CAR!" She asks.

"Its so cool! It's a white Audi Cabriolet! The top comes off and everything, its so cool! And it's so smooth to drive!"

"Really! That's so cool! And how did your driving test go?"

"I PASSED!"

"OH MY GOSH I'm SO HAPPPY FOR YOU MACE! THAT'S SO GOOD! You're having the best birthday! You have to drive me home from school today!" she says

"YES! We can get ice cream or something!" I offer.

"YESS!" she says. "And there is one more thing, now I know its not as good as what your mum got you but I got you a small gift." She says.

"Aw s! You didn't have to do that." I say as she hands the small box to me. I open it and see small chain with lots of charms on it.

"It's a charm bracelet! I got one as well, so we are matching, its like a special best friend bracelet, I hope you like it" she says as she shows me the identical bracelet on her wrist.

"I love it so much, thank you s!" I say and giver a hug.

"Your welcome!" she says as she hugs me back and puts the bracelet on for me.

We head to our first lesson and it is pretty boring. We have biology first and we look at the plant cycle. BORING. Skylar and I write notes to each other most of the lesson as well as writing notes about the subject. I swear the lesson goes forever but its finally morning tea. I decide to see Luke at morning tea since he asked me to see him. I tell Skylar that I have to go see a teacher quickly but I will be back after morning tea. She believes me and goes to eat her morning tea. I put all my books away and bring my math's book with me so it doesn't look suspicious as usual. I decide to text him to let him know I'm coming. I start walking to his office and when I get there, I knock as usual. I feel like I come here all the time now. He opens the door and I walk in closing the door behind me.

"Hey! How's the birthday girl going?" he asks. We haven't kissed yet.

"Yeah, pretty good, my day has been really good so far!"

"That's good," he says and hugs me. "Can I kiss you now" he whispers into my ears. I nod and smile as my reply. We kiss. "Ahh, that's better. I have been waiting for that all morning, even though we did it this morning," he says and laughs.

"Same," I reply stroking his chest. I want to take his shirt off right now but I know I shouldn't.

"Can you come see me tomorrow or something, now you can drive yourself there, you don't have to worry about your mum dropping you around the block, you can park in the garage." He asks.

"Yes of course I will," I reply.

"Awesome, we can have a little birthday celebration for you if you would like?" he asks.
