Friendship Wars

You know what I don't understand? People have these mini contests (if you could really call it that) where they see who's a better friend to someone. One of the arguments they use is: "I've known *insert a name here* for 10 years." It's so stupid. I've only known Alexis for two years and we're best friends. I don't think it really makes a difference how long you've known someone. You can still be really good friends.

Also, I don't think it matters if you know everything about someone. In fact, chances are you don't. Everyone has their secrets. I personally don't tell one person everything. I am a very private person. I don't share my emotions, I don't share a lot of my opinions, most of the time I don't even tell you what I really think. No one knows everything about me. Sure, you can come close, but you won't know everything. Anyway, most people are like this. As I said before, everyone has their secrets. Friends shouldn't know everything there is to know about a person. If you do, that's an invasion of personal space, I think. If you claim you don't have any secrets, you're lying.

I don't know. These are just my opinions.
