Chapter 31

I screamed and screamed there was no one in sight. I clinched my stomach in pain. The pain was unbearable and it just got worse I collapse and blacked out. What it felt like eternally, I finally woke. For what I gather I'm in my room and my legs are spread out. I look around and I see Kira. "Kira? What happen to me?" I tried to move but I was in pain. "Calm down. I was coming to visit Harmony when I saw you on ground and Riddel explained what is happen. Since Riddel is busy, so I'm your midwife." she said while ringing out a wet towel. "Say can ask you something Kira?" I said while Kira put the wet towel on me and then she nodded. "Am I caring a seven or eight old child in my belly?" I added. "Ha, your funny. If that were to happen you'll end up dying in the process, so no. The way this works is that your caring a nine-month old baby, so now your in labor right?" I nodded and she continued on, "If Harmony has her baby first the curse on your family will be broken, however; if you have the baby first the curse is active." "What's the price? For what I can gather about curses, is that at the end of each curse there is some type of price." I replied. "You'll soon find out," she answer with a concern tone. Then the scream came back and it was Harmony I guess the her baby is coming out first, or so I thought; I went into labor. Screaming in agony and relentless pain it felt like I was being torn apart. This continued for several hours and in all that pain I heard a strong cry from next door, I was relief that the curse was over, but I wonder what was the consequence of this curse. I screamed one last time and pushed, then with a strong little cry I heard my baby girl's voice. Kira cleaned it and everything and gave it to me and asked, "What are you going to name this precious thing?" "Celeste," I replied. Then I passed out. After sleeping for hours, I finally jolted back to reality and I saw my baby little girl, Celeste, next to me. When I moved; I wasn't in a whole lot of pain, but I was able to walk over to Harmony and I saw her baby girl as well. Harmony woke up and said, "My sweet child. Will you do something for your great-great-grandmother?" I nodded and she continued on, "Will take care of this dearest child? I'm afraid that I will not around to raise it with you.*Cough* I cried and said, "don't leave me too. Please I begging you to, just please stay here with me!" I hugged her and she began to rub my head with her frigid-cold hands and said, "Don't cry my child, for I will always be watching you and I will always love you. So do not fret my child. For we fragile creatures began to die as were born into this life, so this is it my end. It's my beginning. Good bye." With those last words her spirit rested. I cried harshly like a ragging river, then Riddel came to and said, "She also want to tell you that you have the honors of naming her child. So what blessed name will you give?" I looked at the baby and hold it in my arms and said, "Alice." I cried again. Riddel smiled and continued on, "Now your children will grow regularly and they will also possess some type of magic. Now then, Let's get you to bed for rest." "You know what? If I died I would want Kira or I will say Jynx will take of them I too shall pass away." I said aloud. Kira came in and said, "It will be a pleasure and thank you for I am giving a new name." she replied with happiness. Years has passed since that fateful and my beloved children are almost grow up and looking back on those years I remember my great-great grandmother's quote,
"Never give up
Never lose hope.
Always have faith
It allows you to cope.
Trying times with pass,
As they always do.
Just have patience,
Your dreams with come
True.
So put on a smile,
You'll live through your
Pain,
Know it will pass,
The strength you will gain."
With this quote in my mind I would never give and lived in happiness. With that in toe, I shall too pass on for eternity.
