<6 Month Time Skip>

I've spent six months at the Wayne mansion and I still don't feel at home or welcomed. I just feel like i'm a burden for Bruce and Alfred. I don't even want to mention how awkward it is for me when Bruce takes me out to one of his parties, making me have to dress up and socialize with a bunch of random rich guys. Dick hasnt been over a lot, hes only come over maybe three or four times since I first met him.

I sat alone in the bat cave. It was dimly lit considering the only light was the lights of the small gym that was off to the side. I grown fond of the darkness and silence. Bruce also has had helped me train. He has me focusing on hand to hand combat and on agility. I still don't fully know what he's planing for me. I do have some idea, but it's probably false.

Bruce also enrolled me into the Gotham Academy the first month I was there. I was happy to go back to school, I truly was. I haven't been to school in over three years and I always loved to learn. I wasn't so happy when I learned that I was going to be surrounded by a bunch of snotty rich kids. Dick told me the things to avoid and he taught me the basics of the school because he used to go there.

Even though my time with him has been short, Dick and I have gotten closer. I felt like Dick and I got on the wrong foot when I first met him. He now was like a brother to me. Well he kinda is because Bruce also took him in. He helped me with my fighting skills and other skills he said I would need, he taught me how to hack computers and and hes teaching me loads of fighting skills. I don't know where he learnt this stuff, but holy shit he was good at it.

I've also made a few new friends while at that school. I met them while I got beat up behind the cafeteria on my first day. Hervey, Kyle, and Rain. I often feel like i'm the awkward 4th wheel when I'm hanging out with them, but they are the only friends I had. They kinda took me in my second week at the academy. Rain saw that I was sitting alone and she invited me to sit with her. At first I thought it was going to be just me and this pretty girl but after I sat down Hervey and Kyle met up with us and introduced themselves.

The talk about batman is still going crazy. He shows up out of the blue for one night and disappears again for six months. Bruce hasn't even looked at the bat suit since the night he took me in. I don't know why he hasn't gone out and started getting the crime back in order. It seems like it's starting to go up again.

I sat in silence, enjoying it alone. I felt the cool breeze run through the air as I jogged on the treadmill. I finally decided working out in dress pants and a dress shirt is not the best idea. Working out with no shirt is not really the best of ideas either, it's really uncomfortable when your skin gets all sticky and it starts sticking to every surface. I started to wear a pair of shorts and a simple muscle shirt. I can now wear muscle shirts because I now have muscle.

I kept jogging, picking up the pace as the time went on. My golden blonde hair stuck to my forehead, my legs burned and my mouth was dry but I kept going. I heard the elevator ding and thought it might be Alfred telling me that dinner is almost ready. I stopped running and saw it was Bruce. He was holding a box that looked torn to shreds. I turned off the treadmill and wiped my forehead as I walked over to him.

"We need to talk." His voice sounded gritty and dirty.

"Okay, did I do something wrong? Because I've been down here pretty much all day." I said sitting down on a bench, most of my days I've been spending in the batcave working out.

"You did nothing wrong, you have been down here pretty much everyday, I think you're ready."

I stood up in excitement, "ready for what?"

He handed me the box and I hesitated before opening it. I grabbed the red fabric and held it up. I held up something I never thought I would even get my hands on. I held up a custom robin suit. It looked like all the others, but this one was mine. The red tunic was detailed with green and yellow. The cape was a silky black trimmed with yellow.

"Don't you think i'm a little to old to be Robin?" I asked, still looking at the suit.

"A little," Bruce said quickly, "I'm going out as Batman tonight and I want you to come with. You've been training for six months, you can come if you'd like."

A grin grew on my face and I nodded, "Its my childhood dream to join the one and only Batman. Of course I will join."

I ran into the locker room and almost tipped trying to get into the suit. He must have gotten it sized just for me. It fit perfectly and it showed off my lame muscles which I kinda found uncomfortable. I ran back out and Bruce was in the bat suit. He pulled on his mask and handed me mine and a utility belt. I put the belt around my waist and put on my mask.

"I hope you know I don't have any idea how any of this stuff works." I said as we walked to the bat-mobile.

"I'll teach you." He said and got into the tank like car. The back of the car unfolded its self and I got into the seat. It filed back together and I found my self behind Bruce.

A giant smile grew in my face as the bat-mobile raced out the underground tunnel that lead to Gotham City.
