I had to help Rain load up Hervey and Kyle into the back of her car, I also had to go with them so I can help unload them. I didn't mind, Kyle's house was only about 15-20 minutes away from the Wayne Mansion. I got into the driver seat of the car and waited for Rain to get in. I knew how to drive, I just didn't have a license and Rain doesn't like to drive at night. She was the only one of us who had a license so she was regularly the driver.

I sat in the driver's seat and the engine turned over. I pulled out of the long driveway of the Wayne Mansion and started driving to Kyle's house. The plan was to just get them in the house and drop them on the first couch we see and get out of there before his parents could wake up, pretty good plan if you ask me.

Rain reached forward to turn on the radio to fill the silence. The radio began to spit out soft jazz and she closed her eyes, letting a small smile escape. I glanced over to her and smiled myself and listened to the soft music as I drove to my drunkin friends house.

We got to Kyle's house and I had to drag them in one at a time. Rain used Kyle's key that he had on a lanyard that was sticking out of his pocket to open the door. I basically dragged Kyle in and sat him now in a chair. I went back outside and dragged Hervey in plopped him onto the couch that was next to the chair.

Right when I was about to walk out, I saw the light upstairs turn on,

"Who's there?!" Shouted a man's voice.

"Its, erm, me.. Kyle," I tried my best to make my voice sounded like Kyle's and it worked. "Hervey is spending the night and i'm going to bed, just shutting the door."

"Okay, don't be too lou-" I slammed the door before Kyle's dad could finish. I jumped into the drives seat and left the house.

I drove down the street and drove to back to the Wayne Mansion so I can drop myself off and let Rain drive home; she didn't live that far from me either, about the same distance as Kyle's house.

"What was that about?" She questioned, turning her self to me.

"What was what about?" I asked, glancing over at her.

"Us leaving in such a hurry like that."

"Oh yeah, Kyle's dad woke up and i had to act like Kyle."

"Was that fun?" She said with a giggle

"Not really." I laughed.

We got to the Wayne Mansion and I pulled into the drive way and got out. Rain got out and walked over to me,

"Tonight was really... nice. I've been so busy lately, I haven't gotten the chance to just hang out and be a normal teenager." She shyly said.

I never have the chance to be a normal teenager. I spent half my teen years homeless and now I'm practically choosing to give up the rest of them to become a hero,

"Yeah, it was nice hanging out with you guys, even though half of us fell asleep in the first 2 hours, it was nice."

She laughed and did something I never thought she, or anyone, would do; she stood up on her tippy toes and kissed my cheek, "goodnight, Warner." She said and got into her car and drove away.

I don't think I've ever blushed before in my life. It wasn't like how it was in the movies or how people described it in the books. It wasn't just a little redness on my cheeks, I felt the color drain from my face and my cheeks heated up. I stood there on the driveway, like an idiot, watching her car drive away.

I blinked a few times and walked inside, I cleaned up all the beer cans that Kyle and Hervey left behind and walked to my room. I dropped on to my bed and closed my eyes, unsure if tonight was even real.
