Bruce sped down the street and I looked in the reflection of my polished arm armor and adjusted my mask. The mask wasn't like Batmans, his covered half his face and only showed his mouth. Mine only covered my eyes, my cheeks and half my nose. It wasn't much but it worked. The mask made my eyes look more intense. Batman told me that the mask had four modes: normal, night vision, thermal, and detective mode.

The bat-mobile pulled into one of those inside parking lots and drove to the very top. There where no cars and the place looked dead. It was dark and the only light was a giant neon sign that hung over us. We both got out of the car and stood in the middle of the abandoned lot. He handed me a gun type device and I studied it.

"That's a grappling hook, great for getting away and climbing up buildings and other things. Just aim it, pull the trigger and press that button on the side to be pulled up."

I nodded and put the grappling hook on my belt. I looked at Bruce's utility belt and saw all kinds of weird devices on it. I was wondering if mine would ever look like that.

Bruce then pulled out small metal bat shaped things and handed it to me. "Do you know how to throw a boomerang?"

"It's a pretty long and stupid story on how I learned how to throw one, but yes."

"Throw this like a boomerang. It looks sharp, but it won't cut up your hand if you have your gloves on."

"Oh right." I said quietly and put on my gloves. I was in such a hurry I didn't have half my suit on. I wasn't wearing the black and yellow cape and I left a boot in the car.

I threw the bat like boomerang perfectly and it came back, I caught it and it didn't leave a scratch on my hand. Bruce handed me about 15 more and I put them in a pocket on my belt.

Bruce then handed me a small pouch. My curiosity got the best of me and I peaked into the bag.

"Smoke pellets." Bruce said, "great for escaping in small areas." Bruce started walking back to the car and I followed, "Dick will teach you how to properly used the things I just gave you and he will teach you how to use more gadgets. More tech will be at the batcave, this is all you need for now."

I didn't say anything but I let out a confused noise. What does Dick know about this kind of stuff. He doesn't seem like the type of guy who would. I let it go and looked out the window as Bruce left the deserted parking lot.

Batman turned on a radio but it wasn't a radio for music, it was a police radio. It was dead static for a few seconds but a cracky woman's voice started to speak.

"211S, silent bank alarm went off at the 'Gotham City Bank' in.." The lady could have went on but Bruce turned off the radio and raced to the location.

"Who do you think it is?" I asked while we sat in an eerie silence.

"What do you mean?" Bruce asked while he kept his eyes on the road.

"Who do you the think is robbing the bank?"

"It's probably Two Face's crew. I've been keeping up in the news and noticed that Two Face has already cleaned out two smaller banks in Arkham. His crew is usually armed, if there are guns and shooting, let me handle the ones with the fire arms, you can take the ones that don't have any weapons."

I nodded in agreement and sat the whole rest of the ride in silence.

Bruce pulled up to the bank and both of us got out. He took a close look around and pointed to the roof. "See that gargoyle? Shoot the grappling hook at it and wait for me on top of the roof. Don't get hurt."

I nodded and grabbed my grappling hook that was on my belt. I aimed and fired. The hook wrapped itself around the gargoyle. I pressed the button and was quickly shot towards the gargoyle. I carefully climbed onto the gargoyle and let me tell you, it was scary. I jumped on to the roof from the gargoyle. I looked around and when I turned around Bruce was standing right behind me. I tired not to flinch but it made me jump a little.

"From here on out, call me Batman and I'll call you Robin. This is a big bank, so I'll take the bottom floor; that's usually where the gun men are. Try not to make any noise, remember what Dick and I taught you. Knock them out silently and quickly. Dont kill anyone, keep them alive. Good luck, don't get hurt." Bruce said and opened a glass panel. He shot his grappling hook to a ledge and swung inside, leaving me to think of my own plan.

There was a small ledge that I thought I could perch on and take out my first target who was a buff guy who was holding a baseball bat guarding a door. He was alone so it would be pretty easy. I shot my grappling hook at a pipe that was above the ledge and swung inside. I perched up on the ledge and dropped down, right on top of the guy. I put one hand over his mouth and the other over his eyes. Bruce told me to keep them alive so I tried to knock him out but he was tough. I got him to the ground and just started to repeatedly punch him in the face.

With my fifth of sixth punch, he was out. I dragged him out of sight and ripped a piece of cloth off his shirt and balled it up and put in his mouth just in case he starts screaming, the cloth would muffle it. I used the baterang to cut off long piece of his pant leg to tie up his hands in feet. This would have been easier if I had rope or something. I could tell I was doing a bad job.

I heard someone coming so I grappled back onto the ledge. I watched Bruce take out two guys at once and I was a little jealous. Hell, I couldn't even take out one guy.

Someone was coming and when he rounded the corner he didn't seem to see the unconscious body that was lying in the corner. I got up and was about to jump on him and take him down but I slipped and instead of jumping down on him and doing pretty much the same thing I did to the last guy, I fell off the ledge and landed on him. He must have hit his head because he was out cold, probably wouldn't wake up for hours. I dragged his body to the corner and left him with his buddy and I moved onto a different ledge.

This was only my first time fighting crime and I think I was doing decent. I saw there was only three more guys on my floor, Bruce was probably done by now and was watching me fail. I looked at the three targets that were left. Two of them had there backs to me. The three of them were talking, and they didn't seem to notice that half of their men were gone.

I could take the two that had their backs to me. They looked scrawny. I can quickly knock them out and fight the other with my fists. I took a deep breath and jumped down. I landed on the two and slammed their heads on to the ground to knock them out. I jumped up and swung my fist into the other guys face. It must have took him by surprise because all he did was stand there. He blinked a few times and punched me back, hitting me in the stomach. It took my breath away but I kept fighting.

I threw one last punch and he was down. I sighed in victory and was about to grapple my self back to the roof, but something grabbed both of my arms and basically lifted me off the ground. I heard foot steps and saw a man in the shadows. Half his face looked crusty and burnt and the other looked like an angel. His eyes where wild and he wore a suit that was half black and half white.

He walked over to me, flipping a coin. He caught the coin in mid-air. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a red handkerchief he let out an evil laugh

"Nighty-night, Boy Wonder." He said and put the handkerchief up to my face. I knew what was on the handkerchief because it smelt like gasoline. I tired not to breath in but failed and I was out like a light in seconds.
