It's almost been a month since I've been living in Tulsa Oklahoma and I couldn't be happier. Dally and I have been doing great, no cherry problems either. Pony's back to school again, all excited about track too. Johnny is still his normal self, frightened of anyone who walks near him. Two-bit haven't changed a bit, Soda and Steve have been getting busier at work and Darry has been too.

"Hey everyone" Pony says walking in the door, coming home from school.

"How was your day?" I ask coming out of the kitchen with a sandwich, I guess Pony hadn't realized I was the only one home.

"It was good, track is starting soon and I'm pretty excited about that" He replies joining me on the couch.

"I was in track, for 4 years actually" I told Pony. He seemed impressed.

"What sport haven't you been involved with?" He teased.

"Honestly the only reason why I was in so many sports is because it gave me more time to be away from home, sure I walked home from school or practice almost everyday but it was better than what happened at home" I confessed.

"Did you drop out of school?" Pony asks.

"Yeah when I finished year 11 my mom forced me to drop out, not that I knew much about anything I was supposed to be learning"

"Why did she make you do that?"

"Well she wanted me to be at home more, doing shit for her"

"I understand that, and why don't you start here?" He asks almost excited that I would be in the same school as him.

"I don't know, I'm not smart, so being in year 12, the last year wouldn't help me much"

"But don't you want to get a job?"

"Well I'm smart in my own way, I'll figure that out when the time comes" I smile. "I'll be perfectly fine here, I know it"

Pony smiled and got off the couch and went into the kitchen.

"Where's Dally?" Pony asks making himself a sandwich.

"He's at bucks" I reply taking another bite of my sandwich.

"No problems with Cherry yet?" He sits on the couch next to me again.

"Nope, all good so far"

"Hey Hannah maybe you and Dal could come to the drive-in tonight with me and Johnny" Pony suggests.

"Sounds good, I'll ask Dally when he comes by" I reply.

*Later on tonight*

Pony, Johnny, Dally and I just arrived at the drive in, we crawl under the fence like last time, then find our seats. The movie already started and it seemed weird to me.

"I'm going to get some popcorn, anyone want anything?" I ask standing up throwing my purse over my shoulder.

All the boys shook their heads and I walked to the popcorn shack (didn't know what to call it lol)

I got in line and paid for some popcorn.  I headed back to the spot we were sitting, and before I reached my seat, I seen a red-headed girl in my chair. Cherry Valance.

I walked up to Dally and tapped on his shoulder. He looked up and smiled then looked away again. Pony looked up and I rolled my eyes. I sat in the seat in front of Dally and crossed my arms.

I couldn't believe that Dally was ignoring me, after we had many conversations about Cherry and how she meant absolutely nothing to him.

"Hey Hannah, want to go home? I'll walk you, Johnny said he'll stay with Dally for a while" Pony says sitting in the seat next to me.

"Yeah thanks Pony" I say standing up. I walk for a few seconds then I look back at Dally, he never even noticed I left. I wanted to cry I was hurting so bad.

"Hannah don't worry, Darry will talk with him, because he won't listen to me or Johnny" Pony says putting his hand on my shoulder.

We just arrived at the house, Soda, Steve and Darry was sitting on the couch and by the sounds of it, Two-bit was in the kitchen.

"Where's Johnny and Dally?" Soda asks  as we walk in the door.

I walked straight into Soda's room, I didn't want to talk to anyone right now, I wanted some sleep.

I could hear Pony explaining what happened to the boys, which only made me even more upset.

"Hey Hannah, can I talk to you, just for a minute" Darry asks peeping his head in through the door.

"Sure come in" I sat up in the bed and turned on the lamp.

"Pony told me what happened, how are you taking this?" He asks sitting on the edge of the bed.

"I thought this would actually work out, Dally is my first boyfriend and I'm already having problems, I already had enough going on in my life, I don't want a stupid boy problem to make it worse" I let out a huge sigh and Darry motioned me to come sit by him, the same exact way Johnny did when I first met him in the lot.

"Dally is a hard person to understand, he doesn't express what he feels to anyone, even when he knows he should. Tonight when Dallas drops by, because I know he'll end up feeling bad, that's how he is, I'll talk to him ok, I'll make this better for you I promise" Darry says squeezing me closer to his side.

"Thank you Darry, for everything you've done for me" I wiped my tear and smiled up at him.

He smiled back and replied in a whisper "Get some rest, I'm sure Dally will want to chat with you tomorrow"

I thought about what Darry said, maybe he was right, I'm sure he'll fix everything.

***

I woke up to the smell of eggs and bacon. Pony must have been cooking again this morning, and he was excellent. I picked out a green t-shirt and a old pair of capris, since it was getting warmer. I walked straight to the bathroom without making eye contact, just incase Dally was there. I wanted to talk to Darry before anyone else.

I just finished getting dressed when there was a knock on the bathroom door.

"Hannah, I'll be in Soda's room when you're ready, I have to tell you about last night" Darry said, pretty loud so Dally couldn't have been here.

I opened the bathroom door and walked straight back into Soda's room. Darry was smiling so it had to be good news.

"Dally wants to talk to you later on today, he said to drop by Bucks" Darry explains.

"He didn't say anything else?" I ask.

"He told me he wants to explain it to you himself, but trust me, he really is sorry, make the right decision and forgive him" Darry smiles.

"Thanks Darry, I will"

After I ate lunch with Pony and Johnny, I decided to head over to Bucks. I was a little nervous about this because this was our first official fight, and I don't want it to end badly.

"Hey Buck, is Dally here?" I ask after knocking on the front door.

"Yeah he's been waiting here all day, living room" He says.

I walk in past Buck, and there he was, sitting on the couch with his head in his hands, but he wasn't alone... Cherry.
