If looks could kill, Dally would be dead in a heart beat.
"Dallas" Darry said standing up off the couch.
Everyone was focused on them now.
"Where were you?" Darry asks crossing his arms.
"That ain't none of your business man" Dally says pulling out a pack of cigarettes and lighting one up.
"Well it's mine" I said standing up next to Darry. I tried not to cry, I tried my best to hold it in. Dally smirked and continued smoking.
"Dallas, you know how worried you had Hannah tonight? What are you doing with her anyway" Darry said. I know he was trying to hold back from yelling.
"We were just hanging out at Bucks" Sylvia said since Dally wasn't answering any questions.
"Johnny?" I said turning towards him.
"It's true, we left the DX and went to Bucks" Johnny said digging his hands in his pockets.
"Alright then" I sighed and went back on the couch again.
Why does Dally have to be so complicated.
"Sylvia you can leave" Darry said.
I turned around and watched her stomp out the door. The whole house was completely silent, no one knew what to say.
"I'm going for a walk" I said standing up.
"Not alone kid" Darry said.
"I'll go" Steve said jumping up. Steve?
Steve and I walked out the door and started walking towards the lot.
"Wanna talk about it?" Steve asked.
"Tell me about her, and their relationship before" I said looking at him.
"Well, she's that girl who can't stay with one guy for longer than like a week. She'd always two-time Dally when he was in the cooler, but Dally kept going back to her" Steve said.
"Do you think he would go back with her now?" I asked looking at the ground.
"I don't think so, Dally hasn't been in love with anyone before you came, he's changed so much since you've been here, and maybe tonight he just needed a break from all that" Steve said.
Wow. I never expected to see this side of Steve. He's so sweet, and definitely caring.
"Thanks Steve, you're probably right" I smiled.
We reached the lot and sat down by a tree. Neither of us spoke, we just watched the sunset. Again I am surprised Steve would do this, Pony said he and Johnny only like watching the sunset.
"Let's get back kid, Darry won't want you out this late" Steve said standing up. He reached down for my hand and pulled me up to my feet. We starting walking back, again completely silent.
We reached the house and it was almost pitch black inside.
"I hope Dally isn't here, I'm in no mood to see him right now" I said opening the gate.
We walked up the stairs and opened the door. And there he was sitting on the couch.
I quietly shut the door, I don't know where everyone was, and why it was so dark, it wasn't even that late.
Dally focused his attention to us.
"Steve, could I talk to Hannah alone please?" Dally asked.
Steve nodded and smiled at me before walking out the door. I awkwardly stood there until Dally spoke.
"Come here" He says quietly.
