There was once a engineer that desired nothing but to create life,
he took apart every body part of his whiny wife.
The latter was left screaming and begging for mercy,
but no avail, the engineer decided to leave her to face harsh reality.
For three days, he heard the echoes of his wife's cries.
He then set to work, to remove the excess meat,
The engineer was excited to see the life he would get to see.
He sang the songs that revolutionaries of his time would sing.
The cogs and bolts, as he worked, would go a hollow cling, cling, cling.
On the fifth day, he has assembled a masterpiece.
Complete with his wife's features and expression-
he has no idea what of the sins that he has committed.
It now knew how he gave it life-
for that, it will serve him to his every need until he died.
Three months later, he began to grow bored of his creation.
He did not know that it was bidding it's time...
It will be soon for the engineer to die...
It came to him one night,
in his wife's former hands, it held a knife.
He asked, "Why do you wish to kill me?"
It replied, "For you, you wanted to create life- now, it is your desire that has turned your dreams bittersweet."
He asked, "I created you, why do you not show gratitude?"
It moved forward, throwing shadows across the room, "You never gave me a living heart, did you?"
"Humans are lucky, you all have hearts of flesh."
"With those like me, our clockwork hearts never have to worry about death."
It stabbed him, "Now, it is your sin to try to take God's task."
He bled as red as a sinful mortal would.
"You are not meant to folly with life and death."
