Chapter Ten

*Nicki's P.O.V *

I woke up with the biggest smile on my face, and I absolutely know why and I don't like it! I'm falling for Miles! I got our of bed, took a shower then walked back into my room to change. I wore my Black ripped jeans with my Weeknd T-shirt, and my Dark Blue vans. I grabbed my jacket, backpack, and unplugged my phone and walked downstairs to get some breakfast. I made myself a sandwich and hugged Kate goodbye as I walked outside. I closed the door behind me and what I saw in front of my house was unbelievable! The guys and Shay were outside my house waiting in Ryder's Jeep. Well, damn. I looked surprised! Shay was wearing flower pants, blue long sleeved shirt, with black Timberlands. The guys were all wearing jeans, each other different T-shirts, and Shawn was wearing a Beanie, they all were also wearing, their football jackets! I Rolled my eyes on how they twined and I walked up to them.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked.

"Um, taking you to School duh!" Dylan smiled as he opened the door. Miles and Ryder sat in the front, Shay, Dylan and I sat in the back, and Tucker and Shawn sat in the way back and we were off.

"I, I don't want friends guys.." I quickly said. No one heard me but Shay.

"Very Funny, I ain't leaving you yenno, We are friends now, friends don't leave friends!" She smiled with confidence. I honestly loved hearing that. DANG NICKI YOU MADE FRIENDS! I groaned, plugged in my head phones and looked out the window, that until I heard Dylan and Shay's voices.

"You gotta admit, I'm fire!" He said rolling his eyes.

"Why are you mocking me! I'M RIGHT YENNO!" She replied laughing.

"Shay.." He turned to her grabbed her face.

"y-yah?" She said.

"I..am..never. GONNA ADMIT THAT!" He smirked. She glared at him and turned away.

"NO I'M SORRY, LIL SIS!" He begged. I on the other hand couldn't stop myself from laughing.

"Hmph!"

"Please...!" He said hugging her.

"Oh shut up you know I love you!" She said hugged back and rolling her eyes. He rolled his eyes and smiled and they all Continued singing. How the heck do these people getting along, I mean, Dylan and Shay argue 24/7! Yet they all still get along so well. There people weird man! I pulled back in my head phones and closed my eyes, that's until I felt my earphone being pulled away from my ear. I looked behind me and saw Shawn laughing.

"Come on, enjoy the fun will ya!?" He said and I smiled. Why not. I turned off my music and tucked my phone away and waited for the song to come on... It was Cheater by the Vamps, I've never really heard this song but it's good.

"LEMME TELL YOU ABOUT YOUR BOYFRIEND, YAH HE'S GOT ANOTHER GIRLFRIEND, BABY I JUST NEED TO LET YOU KNOW, YOU REALLY GOTTA LET HIM GO OOOO! " They all sang in sync. I started laughing and then we made it to school. I dreaded Mondays! I rolled my eyes and got of the car with Shay following. We went to our lockers and I just noticed we took up almost the whole row.
Locker 200 - Shawn
Locker 201- Dylan
Locker 202- Shay
Locker 203- Ryder
Locker 204- Tucker
Locker 205- Miles
and then my locker was 206, BESIDE MILES! HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THAT,! UGH. We walked to class, and all I had was butterflies in my stomach. FRICK WE HAVE A TEST TODAY!

*Shay's P.O.V *

WE HAVE A TEST TODAY!? I tried processing the whole thing in my mind but it never worked out.

"But, You never said anything about a test." Tucker told our science teacher

"I know, let's see how many of you guys actually know what I am teaching!" She said smiling. I love our science teacher, but this is cruel! I'm not that good at science, I know what I'm doing, but when it comes to tests...I flip. She handed out the tests and I looked through it, wow, this is really easy! I picked up my pencil and raced through the first 2 pages until the fire alarm went off. We all got into a line until an explosion went off in the back. Everyone started pushing and running. Shawn grabbed my hand and we started pushing. His hand was slowly slipping off my wrist and I tripped and fell. After I got up, I looked around. There was no one near me. Just smoke, fire and slowly the increasing darkness.

*Nicki's P.O.V *

We were all outside, I was standing by a small tree when the guys came rushing towards me.

"Have you seen Shay? !" Dylan asked and I shook my head slowly.

"Frick, this is all my fault!!" Shawn kept saying over and over.

"It's not okay, Shawn relax. She's probably around here somewhere!" Miles said up until Tucker came.

"She's nowhere to be found!" He said resting his arm on my shoulder. They all turned white and that's when We heard Ryder's voice.

"JUST LET ME IN!" He kept saying but the gym teacher kept holding him back. We walked to him and took him away.

"What the heck is wrong with you? !" I said to him and he fell to the ground.

"She's in there! SHE'S IN THERE FOR GOODNESS SAKES AND IT'S ALL MY FAULT!" He said. Shay is in the building..

* Shay's P.O.V *

I woke up and looked at the lightly white and blue tiled ceiling. Where am I? I quickly sat up but fell back onto the bed, my head was now spinning and I closed my eyes.

"sweetie? " A voice said. I looked up to my right and smiled. My mom was sitting in the chair with Aidan by her side. I let out my hand and held on her hand..

"Where is Dad,mom?" I asked as she helped me sit up. She sat Aidan on my lap and she said on the foot of my bed.

"He went to feed-" She got cut off by a sudden voice. Shawn walks through the door and smiled. He comes up to my bed and hugs me.

"Are you okay?" He says slowly. Ahhh, now I remember, the fire.

"Yes I'm fine, Calm down okay, you pulled me out of the crowd by we got separated, I should be Thanking you!" I said hugging him again. He kissed my head and sits down onto my left. I then see 7 chairs there as well. Tucker then walked in and he seemed way too happy to see me.

"SHAY!!!!!!!" He yelled which tightened Aidan. I smiled at him and he ran into my arms.

"Thank god you're alive!" He said smiling. I shook my head and Dylan walked in.

"Dang it, you should have died!" Dylan joked as I stuck my tounge out. He hugged me and sat down as he pulled out his phone. Nicki and miles then walked in and Miles attacked me with a hug. Nicki also did and I now know she really cares. I waited for like a half hour for Ryder but he didn't show up. I got upset and decided to falk asleep but I couldn't.

"I'm sorry.." A voice said. I opened my eyes and saw Ryder. I quickly sat up and hugged him so tight I idont think he could breath.

"I love you best friends!" I said to him and all of them. He sat on the chair and I smiled at him and then Blake comes in. He sees me and smiled
