Chapter Eleven

*Nicki's P.O.V *

It's Thursday, and today is the day Shay comes out of the hospital. We've all been visiting regularly, especially Shawn. He likes to go every morning and after school, he's blaming himself, even though we've tried convincing him that it wasn't.

"Nicki? Nicki Williams, would you like to spend your lunch in detention?" A voice shouted. I looked up from my desk, and our teacher looked like she was about to kill me. I smiled and nodded at her, I don't care if I get detention, she hates me anyways! I continue my work until I get interrupted.

"Are you coming to my party?"
I looked to my left and it's Tielya.

"Um, no? Why would I want to?" I replied. She rolled her eyes and flipped her hair. I flicked my pencil at the top of her head and she yelled. What a drama queen.

"That's it Miss Williams! You also have detention after school!" Damn it. We were gonna have a welcome home party for Shay. I nodded and waited until the bell rang. I quickly rushed to my locker where I found Tucker.

"I can't help set up the party! Or hang at lunch! I Got detention, twice!" I told him rolling my eyes.

"Jeez woman, you are like the queen of Detention!But okay, I'll tell the guys!" He said as the bell rang, and I dragged myself back into my life. I walked through the door and I find the regular people and...Blake? I walk over and sit behind him.

" What's your story?" I asked smiling. He put down his pencil and slowly turned towards me.

"I was late, 4 times in a row! He spared me 3 times cuz of Basketball, buttttt then yeah!" He said laughing.

"Well, I got detention for not paying attention, and I have one after school for whacking Tielya in the head with a pencil!" I said smirking.

"You're missing the welcome back party?"

"Nope, I will make it. But I won't be able to help set up! But I will for sure bring the cake!" I said and he nodded at me. It got silent but then I decided to ask him a out Shay.

"So, how long have you like Shay?" He looked at me surprised and be turned bright pink.

"For a while actually, I was gonna tell her the 8th grade, but then her and Ryder. ..um yah, so I stopped liking her for 2 years and now I like her again," He explained.

"Her and Ryder what?"

"They kissed, he kissed her." He said raising his eyebrows.OH MY GOD! WHAT! AHHHH! Okay Nicki calm down.

"But you two are a thing now right?" I asked.

"Welllllllll, I'm planing on asking her today, since I know how she feels about me!" He said. I was about to reply but the bell rang. I said bye to Blake and quickly ran out the door. I NEED TO FIND RYDER, BUT I NEED NEED TO GO TO CLASS.

*Shay's P.O.V *

Today I go home. I'm pretty excited, I miss school. The guys and Nicki have been visiting me everyday but I think Shawn has the most! The past few days, I've been checked over. I had a mild concussion, I need some stitches, apparently I had some deep cuts? because I fell and hit my head and there was glass? I must have forgotten. They have one more check up on me before I get to go home, I want to be home before school ends, I want to surprise everyone,I don't think they know.

"HI Shay!" A voice hissed. I sit up and see Tielya.

"What do you want? " I asked.

"Nothing, but..just wanted to let you know, Ryder will be mine. Oh, AND, Blake doesn't like you, he plays this game with everyone, He likes me honey!" She said walking around the room.

"I don't belive you!" I yelled out.

"Fine!DON'T!" She stormed out of my room and slammed the door which caused me to do a little jump. She's lying, I know she is...Blake likes me, and Ryder won't be hers that's for sure! I decided to take a small nap...by small I mean a few hours, and hopefully once I wake up, I get to go home!

*Nicki's P.O.V *

"YOU KISSED SHAY IN THE 8TH GRADE?!" I said as I closed my locker. All the guys were there and that's when I asked.

"No.." He said looking at his shoes.

"YES!" The guys all yelled at him.

"Relax, it was just one kiss!" Ryder said standing up straight.

"Um, Ryder? She was YOUR first kiss!" Dylan pointed out.

"Not to mention, but hers too!" Miles said.

"WAIT! BUT HOW THE HECK DO YOU KNOW NICKI?!" Shawn noticed.

"I though we were the only ones outside, since it was snowing!" Tucker said. OH MY GOD IT WAS SNOWING TOO!?

"Blake saw..." I trailed off.

"FRICK! I forgot he was coming outside!" Ryder said.

"What's so bad about that?" I asked. They all looked at me like I killed someone.

"Blake liked her at that time, Ryder didn't know until a week after he kissed her." Tucker explained. OH DAMN, DRAMA!

"Is that why you guys drifted?" I couldn't stop asking questions, this was just interesting.

"No, he moved!" Ryder said which ended the convo, but right on time! Let's go to end of the day detention!
