Chapter 1:
(Ahkmenrah)Ah, at last. . . Midnight, I got out of my sarcophagus, pushed the slab out of the way and exited the Egypt exhibit. Putting on my crown and walking towards the lobby I heard on the intercom " ladies and gentlemen, creatures and staues, your Dj Maco Kings is playing Africa by Toto, the sound of music begin to play. I smiled, Oh my sweet Maco. As I entered the lobby I realized Maco wasn't there! I looked around hoping I'd find her but she was nowhere to be found "Maco?" I said continuing to look around. Where did she go " right here Ahk, right here" I heard someone said, I turned towards the restrooms to find Maco drying her hands on her shirt.
Another year passed for us and Maco decided to dye her hair black and keep it that way, she wore a black shirt that had red and white words saying "I'm not Anti-social I just don't like you" the words I'm not and I just like you were white while Anti-social and Don't were red. She wore black sweatpants and black boots that were called "uggs". "Hello sunshine" Maco said hugging me "hello my love" I said holding her, oh how I love the way she smelled, her perfume always smelt soothing. Once we got out of our hug we looked into each others eyes "so" Maco said putting her hands on her hips "whatcha you wanna do" I looked at the ceiling " I want to know more about you" I said taking her hand and intertwining her fingers with mine "sounds good" Maco said leading to the ocean world exhibit.
Maco and I sat in front of the Ocean World exhibit, it was our favorite place to be "so, what do you want to know, Ahk" Maco said looking at me, her envy green eyes rested upon my features, I put my hands on her face and gave a kiss "oh . . . My, Ahk are you ok?" She asked after the kiss "I'm fine" I said rubbing her cheeks with my thumbs "tell me, about yourself, I still feel like I don't know you. . ." I said taking my hands off of her face "well you already know that I came from Connecticut, I used to run away from home because I hated home" Maco said pushing he knees into her chest, she seemed to be having a hard time getting what she had to say out of her mouth " I remember running away to join the Russian circus" Maco chuckled "r - russian circus?" I questioned, what was that? Maco looked at me and smiled " I did gymnastics in the circus" she giggled. I honestly didn't know what a circus was until she explained it to me " and what about the dark clothes?" I asked.
Maco smoothed her shirt down " I just like wearing it" she said laying her head on my shoulder "I moved here, because I wanted to start fresh. . . Then I met Larry, he'd always worry about me" Maco said holding my hand and giving it a squeeze "I practically own this museum" Maco said looking at the colors of the Ocean World structure, I looked at her with wide eyes "how?" I asked, this was something that caught me off guard" my grandfather owns this place, if he dies, the museum will belong to me" Maco said clearing her throat, I looked at her again. . . she was wiping tears off of her face "don't cry my little lotus" I said pulling her into a hug, I honestly don't like seeing her sad " Maco rubbed her face and looked me in the eyes " I'm also dating you. . ." Maco said taking off my crown and running her fingers through my hair; I loved her touch. . . It was so soft and warm "indeed you are, my newly found treasure" I said putting a hand on her face, Maco caressed my hand and place a gentle loving kiss on my cheek, I felt my face get hot. Should I tell her about me?
