Chapter 12:

(Larry)

Finally, we were in the the museum, it was the same museum that Maco was touching the bobbleheads, well, trying to touch them. The museum was filled with planes and rockets.

It was amazing now that the planes were moving around, as well as the people of course, well, more like engineers and pilots.

Amelia ran off to a red plane, she explained what it meant to her before getting in and starting the engine. Just then, a count down was being said. I knew what this meant.

They'd trash up this museum by flying around in it.

I had to stop it.

No more trashing up these museums.

I looked around to find the person counting down. He was standing up looking at the grid and counting down in a microphone, I quickly walked over to him and snatched the microphone away from him.

"No, no, no, no l-lifting off, come on guys, stop that, yup, stop the engines, come on" I explained, everyone let out a groan, even Amelia, who got out of the plane and walked over to me. I gave her an 'I'm sorry' expression as I turned and walked around looking for the Einsteins.

I walked around searching high and low for the bobbleheads, just then, a monkey who looked like Dexter but with a space suit on pointed at what was behind me,"Mr. Daley, I found your Einsteins" Amelia announced, I turned around and walked towards Amelia, the Einsteins were just walking around on a big red table, writing on little notepads.

I got a little excited and speed walked towards the the table, Einsteins turned around, their heads bounced around like crazy, well? What did you expect? They're bobble heads.

"Hey there" one of them said, and with that, the others greeted Amelia and I as well. I had to hurry this up; Maco and Jed were in trouble. "Hey, hi, there's uh, a lot of you" I said looking at them all. Some of the Einsteins walked towards us with warm smiles; they seemed like they were ready to help us with whatever problem we had.

"Gentlemen, we're trying to crack the combination to this tablet do-dat, and the writing here's says we'll find if we figure out the secret at the heart of the pharoah's tomb" Amelia explained, giving them a shrug. I honestly wished Maco didn't  want to stay with Kahmunrah, we would've cracked this code by now.

Sorry Amelia.

One of the Einsteins tried to pull himself up to the platform, but the others helped him up, he let out a chuckle as he did such "thats an easy one, the answer to that, is in the question" he replied, I didn't understand. "What does that mean?" I asked as the Einstein put a hand on his hip "figure out, it's a figure, I.E a number" he added, the others started to write in their notepads again "and the pharoah's tomb? I.E the pyramid" another Einstein said showing Amelia and I a picture of a pyramid he just drew.

I shook my head in confusion; I still didn't understand what any of this meant, "dont you get it, kid? You're looking for the secret number at the heart of the pyramid" the first Einstein said, just then, Amelia snapped her finger "whistle me, dixie, the answer is Pi!" She said looking at me " pi?" I questioned, did I hear that right?

"3.14159265, to be exact" the Einstein said as the others held up the numbers him. My eyes lit up "oh yeah, 3.1459265?"
"No no no no no, 3.14159265359"
"3.14- I'm sorry, I can't tell if you're nodding or-
"Well, what do you expect? We're bobbleheads" the Einstein said with a smirk, I let out a little chuckle as they started to sing and dance before I saw the entrance doors burst open.

I turned my head to see Kahmunrah's guards walk into the museum "geez, do they ever stop?" I groaned, as they ran around the museum I grabbed Amelia's hand and ran; there has to be a way out of here.

We ran up the stairs before a group of people stopped us, but it was only because they wanted to talk to Amelia, obviously the conversation didn't last long because Amelia told the men that Kahmunrah's guards were after us. As those brave men went up to Kahmunrah's guards, Amelia and I took this chance to escape.

But how? There were only planes, and if we tried to fly one in here, it would destroy this place! "Larry, let's use this" Amelia said pointing at a plane, it was a wooden made plane with white clothes attached to it; probably to catch the wind and keep the plane from hitting the ground.

I speed walked up to it and got inside; I trust her. I trust her to get us out of here.

I gripped onto some the wood tightly as Amelia unlatched the plane. I got scared from the plane drop, but I didn't lose faith in Amelia, I watched her grab the lever with excitement, I looked away from her to realize we were about to crash into a large door. I started to panic, but it went away once I saw Abel; the monkey with the space suit, on the ground near the exit. Both Amelia and I encouraged Abel to open  the door, and he did.

We were high in the sky, holding onto the lever to steer us, we had what we needed. It was a beautiful night, and it wasn't even chilly out. I was amazed at how high we were until Amelia told me to take the lever because something was loose and she needed to fix it. I didn't feel comfortable with holding the lever but if that's what she wanted me to do then I'm gonna take the lever.

It wasn't long until she came back and took the lever from me "we're all set" she said with excitement; she was in her element. I couldn't help but look at her, she was beautiful. From her eyes, her soft skin, her lips, she was just beautiful. Amelia turned towards me, and our eyes met for a moment, but only for a moment, since she needed to pay attention to what was infront of her, her smile wiped off her face.

"Brace yourself, our landing isn't going to be soft" she warned me, I looked away from her to find out we were going to crash into a giant window!
