Chapter 9:
(Larry)

A/n : please note that Night at the Museum is more about Larry Daley than Maco Kings

Teddy Roosevelt was an energetic and prideful man that I've ever met, I had so many questions to ask but the main question I needed answered was "why is everything alive when everything should be dead" Teddy brought me to the Egypt part of the museum, where I found the sarcophagus of Ahkmenrah jumping around and screaming eager to come out "enough Ahkmenrah, you haven't came out for fifty-four years, you aren't getting out tonight" teddy said staring at Ahkmenrahs sarcophagus.

Teddy told me the reason why they were alive was because of Ahkmenrah's tablet. That's sort of amazing yet impossible but Teddy told me that the Jackels were staring at me was impossible? But the main thing he told me was that if anything or anyone was out of the museum during sunrise, they'd turn to dust . That scared me; not because the inhabitants turn to dust and will never be able to enter the museum again but I'd be fired and Maco would be disappointed in me.

I followed Teddy around until he stopped at the part where Sacagawea would walk back and forth behind the glass, I was still confused until I felt my phone buzz in my pocket, I took my phone out of my pocket and flipped up the top up. It was a message from Maco, she sent this message forty minutes ago! I read the message and texted her "I'll come by and tell you in the morning" I put my phone away as Teddy's horse trotted back to the entrance.

The sun was starting to rise. Every inhabitant was going back to where they belong. As I told Teddy goodnight he replied with "no, good day" as he unsheathed his sword and raised it in the air, I wondered why he was so still as I walked up to him but he gave me a jumpscare and laughed about it. The T-Rex bones was the last to be where it belonged; he put his bone on his rib and froze. The sun was up and everything was silent.

I went downstairs to change, those old men must be coming back and when they did I told them that this job was ridiculous! I really wanted to quit but when Nicky came by I thought about giving this job a second chance. Mr. McPhee called me over as soon as I told Cecil that I'll give this job another shot. Mr. McPhee took me over to the miniature figurines room to show me that Octavius was in the wild west section; he wasn't supposed to be there. I tried to explain but I couldn't "Mr. McPhee leave him be" I heard a voice call out, I turned to find Maco walking towards us. She was wearing a black silked balloon dress that's sleeves weren't puffy but straight. She had a white pinafore apron over the black dress, black and white stockings, and black stylish boots; she reminded me of a gothic 1951 Alice in Wonderland! "Ms. Kings? Good lord what happened to you?" Mr. McPhee said shocked, I didn't notice that the sides of Maco hair was gone and I also  noticed that she had a black and blue bruise under her eye " hey, hey what happened here?" I said holding Maco's face "I-I got hurt. . .and bullied" Maco said looking away. Why would anyone want to hurt Maco?
