Chapter 5:

(Maco)

I pushed Larry into the first door I saw and closed it behind me. I let out a sigh as we walked towards a guard post, Larry put the ID in front of the camera because the guy asked for ID  as I stood near the gate. Once the gate started to open I dashed through the gate so the camera wouldn't see me.

As Larry and I looked around we saw boxes and crates, we were amazed but it didn't stop us from looking for our friends, infront of us sat a giant  crate; could that be our friends? I put a hand on my chest and the other around my waist, Larry unlatched the crate only to find giant tenticals falling out of  it, Larry looked at me as I got on my tiptoes and looked into  the crate. Larry pushed the tenticals back into the crate and latched it. We continued to walk until the room got dark, Larry grabbed his flash light and turned it on. I grabbed his arm as we continued to walk "where could they be. . ." Larry said looking around " I don't know, but let's just find them and just g-" I was cut off by slamming into something.

Larry opened the gate I slammed into and flashed his light onto some waxed figures who weren't in a proper stance; it was as if they were doing a task and just stopped "oh. . . My. . . God" Larry said looking at the figures. I looked at the wax figures "these are, uh. . . Guards" I  said looking at the six guards "and this must be there leader" I pointed at the wax figure who was pointing back at me. I continued to look at the wax figure, he seemed familiar "little trouble maker" I heard Larry say "gonna deal with you later" Larry said trying to open the door to the red storage bin "what's wrong?" I said walking towards Larry, Larry pointed into the giant storage bin, I saw our friends holding their weapons "we've  walked into a battle, Larry" I said looking around. Larry walked away to turn on the lights, I squinted from how bright the lights were. Larry went back to the red storage bin and take one of the guards spears and reach for something inside the red giant storage bin " what's going on? " I asked, Larry pulled out Ahkmenrah's tablet and held it in his hands " oh thank goodness " I said looking at the tablet. I reached out for it but the tablet beginned to glow "no no no no no" Larry said to the tablet, the Egyptian wax figures begin to wake up and yell, I hid behind Larry as he'd  protect me.

The Egyptian wax figures closed the door behind me and Larry, the leader looked at us and beginned to speak a language we didn't  understand. "Parlez-vous français?" He asked, I poked my head out from behind Larry and looked at the wax figure "Je parle français ( I speak french) " I said pointing to myself " Mais il n'a pas ( but he doesn't ) " I said looking at Larry, the leader looked at Larry "English? English perhaps? " He said gently "I'm sorry,  who are you? " Larry asked " I am Kahmunrah, great king of the great kings, and from the darkest depths of ancient history. I have come back to life ! " Kahmunrah pronounced "uhuh" Larry said looking around " perhaps you didn't hear what I just said, I am a century old Egyptian  pharoah, I was dead, but now I've come back to life! " Kahmunrah pronounced " we heard that, welcome back " Larry said looking around " who are you?" Kahmunrah asked confused " I'm Larry Daley, from Dayley Devices. It's up in New York" Larry said pointing behind him " I-I'm Maco Kings, the heiress of The Museum of Natural History " I said pointing at myself " Kings? " Kahmunrah asked "you're a king?" I face palmed myself "your brother asked the same thing when he first met me " I said taking my hand off my face "that's funny because we've met your brother, Ahkmenrah " Larry added  " do you both? They know baby brother, the favorite son " Kahmunrah snorted "yeah, I'm Ahkmenrah's significant other" I  chimed, Kahmunrah looked at me "yeah, good kid" Larry said nodding  " oh, isn't he just? You know mother and father always gave him the best of everything and I do mean everything. They even gave him the throne, the throne which was rightfully mine!" Kahmunrah yelled "he never mentioned that" Larry  said looking down "to me either" I said looking at Larry, why didn't  Ahkmenrah tell me about his brother, he'd  always ask me about my family, but he'd never told me about his " oh just bet he didn't, never told me he had a significant other" Kahmunrah said looking at me, lunged back and batted my eyes.

"Well, now begins the era of Kahmunrah because I have come back to- Nevermind just give me the tablet" Kahmunrah said holding out his hand "don't do it gigantor" I heard Jed yell "silence,oh silence in there, please? " Kahmunrah said banging on the red giant storage bin "don't make me come in there" he added "No! I  can't  be muzzled" Jedediah  snapped "yeah!" Octavius yelled, Kahmunrah turned around and looked at us "look, that tablet is more powerful than you Larry Daley of Daley devices and you Maco Kings of Museum of Natural History can possibly imagine, bringing things to life is just part of what it can do" Kahmunrah said walking towards  us "I don't like where this is going.  .  ." I said  looking at Larry "obviously Maco Kings of Museum of Natural History ".
