Taking Care of Cecil

Chapter 20:
(Larry, Maco, and Jedediah)

I ran back into the museum while the others waited outside. The only person who could help us was Sacagawea, the girl behind the glass who couldn't hear me. Once I reached the room, I grabbed one of the cannon balls from the landscape "get out the way" I said walking towards the thick glass, Sacagawea moved out of the way as I threw the cannon ball. The thick glass shattered and fell to the ground. Lewis and Clark looked at the broken glass as Sacagawea walked towards me "sorry to bother you, someone stole the tablet of Ahkmenrah, do you think you can track them down?" I asked, Sacagawea nodded.

I took Sacagawea to where the van was missing, I found Nicky walking around while Maco had both her hands on Ahkmenrah's talking about who knows what, Sacagawea knelt down while I went to talk to Maco "any sign of Cecil?" I asked, Maco took her hands out of Ahkmenrah's and held herself " no, not yet but I think these foot prints are his" Maco said pointing downwards, I looked down as Maco put her hands back in Ahkmenrah's and looked around "he went east, but he lost control and crashed" Sacagawea said standing up "you're amazing, how did you know that?" I asked holding myself thus to it being cold. Sacagawea pointed, I looked beyond the dumpster and saw the van, the front of the van was smashed into a pole.

"oh" Maco said wrapping her arms around Ahkmenrah's arm "he left the van and went back" Sacagawea said walking around "back?" I questioned "why would he go back?". I heard the sound of horses "get out of the way!" Someone yelled, Sacagawea didn't know what to do until Teddy jumped in the way to save her, the wagon zoomed passed us "Cecil!" Maco screamed running after the wagon "come back! Come back!" Maco said as she stopped running "you saved me" Sacagawea said crawling toward Teddy "you're worth saving my dear" Teddy said sweetly "oh, that's problematic" Teddy said looking at himself, he was split at the waist "oh my god Teddy" I said kneeling down next to him "Larry relax I'm wax" Teddy said "Cecil is not getting away with this" Maco said crossing her arms " Listen, you got to do something, dawns approaching and half of the museum is running a muck" Teddy informed "he's got my tablet" Ahkmenrah said "we know, bro" Maco said to Ahkmenrah. A small remote control car drove next to me "how may we be in service?" Someone said, I looked into the car to find Jedediah and Octavius sitting in the small car. The sounds of booming was coming from the door that trucks use when the unload luggage "Rexy" I said moving my finger in a "come here" motion, I looked down at Teddy "Teddy, I'm gonna need your horse" Teddy looked at me "do it man".

(Jedediah)

Ok, so gigantor and Mac-Mac got on Teddy's horse while gigantor's son and the king were riding on the T-Rex bones. This toy car was small enough for Octavius and I to fit in. It felt like we were living the dream! Mac-Mac told us to follow the tracks. The tatic was to make the old fart stop the coach and give back the tablet; I knew he was gonna put up a fight. Gigantor and Mac-Mac were right on the old night guard's tail. How I know you ask? They were across from us, you know, the other path? "Whoo say yeah" I yelled "yeah!" Octavius yelled. Now's the time to play chicken if you never played this game; it's when you and a person drive straight at each other until one of you turn. And that's just what I'm gonna do with the old sucker. Obviously folks that didn't work. . . 'Cause I crashed the car.

(Maco)

Larry stopped the horse "what's wrong?" I asked, Larry didn't look at me "Jed and Octavius. . . They crashed" Larry answered, I put a hand on my mouth "are they ok?" I asked trying to see if they were ok "come on Tex" Larry said to Teddy's horse. Little Texas ran as fast as he could, I had to hold onto Larry. . . Hoping I wouldn't fall off, as we got closer to Cecil who was on the coach. We were next to each other, the wind blew against my face "s-stop the coach!" I yelled, Cecil looked at me and went on riding "stop the horses" Larry yelled "can't, moving on!" Cecil replied. If he just stopped this would be all over "Cecil if you don't stop the horses I'll stop them! Larry snapped, Cecil looked at us "haven't you brushed up on your history?" Cecil said taking his eyes off of us "these are money carriers, they don't stop without a secret word" I gave Larry's stomach a squeeze, I couldn't remember the word "oh? You mean a word like. . ." Larry said looking at Cecil, Cecil put on a questioning face as Larry looked at the horses "Dakota" Larry yelled. Larry stopped Tex as the money carriers stopped, sending Cecil flying off the coach and face first into snow, Larry made Tex walk up to Cecil. Larry got off Little Texas and grabbed the tablet "I brushed up on my history,oh yeah, don't ever insult me in front of my son again.

A few minutes later Ahkmenrah, Nicky, and the Huns joined us, I stayed on the horse and looked at Rexy "Ahkmenrah can you tell the huns to put Cecil with the other night guards" Larry said, I ran my fingers through Little Texas mane and watched Ahkmenrah translate to the Huns. I put a hand to my mouth and giggled, there was a small talk between Attila and Larry. How I know? 'Cause it sounded like Atilla wanted to hurt Cecil, I shooked my head at this. I looked at the sky; it was getting bright. "L -Larry" I said pointing at the sky. The museum was gonna turn into dust if we don't get them back indoors. I had a small black out, but I heard Ahkmenrah say something. I snapped out of my black out only to find Little Texas turning around and walking towards the museum,I fumbled and looked behind me "I guess I'll see you guys at the museum then?" I said nervously.
