I put on my night guard outfit and started to walk around. I had to hang around the rotating door since Maco would be coming in soon, I looked at my watch "anytime now" I said holding up three fingers, then two fingers, then one finger,  and after I put down my fingers Maco finally came in "am I late?" She said taking off her coat, I looked at Maco.

She was wearing a maids dress, had black flower petals covering her bruise but what threw me off the most was her green hair "no, your not late but. . . What's  all this?" I asked, Maco smoothed her dress down "I wanted to look nice. . . For Ahkmenrah" she replied intertwining her fingers together " you're gonna, let him out?" I asked pointing upstairs, Maco nodded "it's unfair that he's still in his sarcophagus and everything and everyone else is out and about" I agreed with Maco, it was unfair "well we have two more hours so go look around" I said looking around "of course, of course" Maco said walking away and looking around.

I obviously went upstairs to The Egypt exhibit, everyone  seemed to leave when I entered I looked around as I went deeper into the exhibit "Ahkmenrah, hello" I whispered putting my face close to the sarcophagus. I got no response "are you excited for tonight?" Still no response from Ahkmenrah "I am too" I said leaving the exhibit. I went down stairs to find Larry, only more hour until Ahkmenrah wakes up. I walked into the miniature figurines exhibit to look at little Jedediah and Octavius "you guys are so cute" I said cheerfully.

After I was done looking around I went to look for Larry, I so eager for it to be midnight! "Come on, let it be midnight already " I said walking around on tiptoes "please please" I could hardly wait, I just wanted to move that giant slab off of Ahkmenrah's sarcophagus and watch him walk around gracefully. But what if he wasn't the way I imagined him;  not graceful or act like a king. I couldn't wait any longer "waiting is killing me" I said walking looking around "Larry?!" I yelled.

I was making sure that no one else was in the museum but me and Maco, but to my surprise Rebecca was still here, she was looking at Sacagawea; she didn't even notice I was in here, Maco came in from the other entrance and put her hands on her knees I flashed my light on Rebecca told her that everyone was leaving; she was so fascinated by Sacagawea that she wished she met her in the flesh just like how Maco wanted to meet Ahkmenrah. Rebecca  walked past me as I looked at Maco who was moving her head  in a "go after her" motion, I stared at Sacagawea and went after Rebecca. I tried telling  Rebecca what I told Maco, but she thought I was making fun of Sacagawea and history. I watched her leave the museum "not everyone is going to believe" Maco said walking from behind me, Maco took my hand and brought me down stairs (I forgot to mention that I brought Nicky with me).

One minute away from midnight, I sat Nicky down on the information desk "whats going on?" Nicky asked as Maco came out of the ladies room "we have something to show you" Maco said with enthusiasm "what is it?" Nicky asked "you know the T-Rex right?" I said looking at my watch "yeah?" "Well I like to call him Rexy, and he'll  be coming to life in 3. . . 2. . . 1"  I said turning away from Nicky and facing the T-Rex bones while pointing, I tried a couple of times  to make an intro for Rexy but it was no use, I turned to look at  Maco who's  hands was on her stomach and chest, a bit of worry was on her face "guys" Maco said looking around "dad?" Nicky said wondering what was going on "guys?" I yelled as well "I promised Ahkmenrah" Maco said running up the stairs, Nicky watched her leave as I walked up to Teddy, why isn't anything or anyone walking  around? "Larry!" I heard Maco scream. I looked up at the top floor and ran up the stairs with Nicky behind me "Larry come quick!" Maco screamed. As we reached the Egypt exhibit I noticed that Maco didn't  take her eyes off the wall "what's wrong?" I asked grabbing her shoulders, Maco looked at me and pointed "the tablet of Ahkmenrah, it's gone" Maco said  putting her hands on her mouth "yeah sure it is" Nicky said I looked at the wall, Maco was right! It was gone "Larry, your son" Maco said looking behind her. My son disappeared from the hallway "Nicky!"  I yelled running  out of the exhibit. Nicky was walking down the stairs I noticed that he was hanging his head "Nicky where are you going?" I asked "home" he snapped "Nicky don't go" Maco said coming down the stairs behind  us "hey, wait-" I was cut off by the light outside, looked like  it came from the back "come on I said" I said leading Maco and Nicky downstairs.

As we went down stairs, I noticed Maco would keep looking back "where could the tablet be?" She asked  putting three fingers on her lips "we'll find it Maco, I promise" I said getting off the stairs, as we reached the basement area we noticed gold items in baskets "what. . . On . . . Earth?" Maco said looking at the items "all of this must've  came from up stairs" I said looking around. "Maco, is this what you're looking for?" Nicky said picking up a giant piece of gold " oh my goodness, the tablet! You found it" Maco said walking towards Nicky "don't  touch that, that's museum property" a voice retorted, Maco turned and moved Nicky behind her, it was the old night guards "give us the tablet, son" Gus said holding out his hand "Nicky turn the piece" I said looking at Nicky "your father doesn't work here anymore, he got fired this morning" Cecil said smiling, that was a really messed up move he made "but dad, you said you didn't  get fired" Nicky said with confusion on his face "I didn't, they're  lying so they can have the tablet, just turn the piece" I said pointing at the tablet "gives us the tablet" Gus yelled "Nicky. . . Please" Maco said looking at my son, Nicky looked down and turned the piece; the tablet glowed brighter than the sun.

The sound of an elephant braying came from up stairs, the old night guards started to stretch and limber up "Nicky, Maco run" I said looking at the old night guards. Maco took Nickys hand and ran up stairs while I got beat up by the old night guards who put blame on me this entire time. I just hope that Nicky and Maco were alright.
