Chapter 1:
(Larry)

Larry Daley was going around looking for jobs around New York, he didn't care what kind of job it was; he just needed one.
He tried to make a device called the "snapper" but the lady he told it about said 'Clapping was easier.' Not to mention the police put a wheel clamper on his car, so he had to walk home!
As he was opening up his apartment, the door on the left opened.

"Haro, Larry." The neighbor sang, leaning out the door "Oh, hey Mac- Mac..." Larry stuttered, he forgot how to pronounce his neighbor's name again.
"Maco." His neighbor corrected, Maco was a slender nineteen year old girl who does cosmetology at a beauty school. Her eye makeup was always made her look Egyptian.
"Maco, right. How are you? " Larry asked, still trying to open the door, "Pretty cool, you okay? You seem stressed." she asked in a worried tone, "Can't find a job, that's all." He answered, finally opening the door.
"Oh, gee, well check out the museum sometime, I think they need someone for night watch. . ." Maco advised, tapping her golden face with her black finger nails "Okay Maco, will do." Larry replied, slowly stepping into his apartment.
"Okay..." Maco trailed off, disappearing into her apartment.

Larry stopped for a moment, "Maco!" He called out, pulling his head back into the hallway "Hmm?" Maco hummed popping her head out her door.
"Do you still make t-shirts?" He'd ask, he hasn't seen her make shirts since she moved into her apartment, "Yeah, but I'm gonna make more!" Maco chimed.
Larry nodded his head and went back into his apartment; he worried about that kid, just like he'd worry about his son, Nick.
