Chapter 5:
Maco walked with her neighbor back to the Museum as it was almost night time.
Cecil and his friends told Larry what to do, but the thing about 'Not letting anything out of the Museum.' threw him off.
Maco wished her friend good luck and left the museum. Deep down, Larry wished she stayed, but this job seemed easy as pie!
He'd start to mess with the phone, as there was nothing else for the new night-guard to do since nothing was out of whack.
Around a specific time, Larry fell asleep, he'd wake up by falling off the chair, and onto his face.
What a way to wake up, huh?
With bladder filled with liquid, Larry would make his way to the bathroom only to come back to the entrance of the Museum and find the T-Rex bones missing!
"Cecil?" Larry called out! "This isn't funny!"
He hope he was dreaming, how could something that big disappear?! The new night-guard heard something... Dripping? Was anyone here?
"Maco?" He called out again. No answer, Larry slowly walked toward the noise in the hallway.
The water dripping onto floor was getting louder and louder, but Larry couldn't see anything, so he flicked on my flashlight, and what Larry saw, made his eyes widen!
The T-Rex bones was drinking the water from the water bubler!
But, because it didn't have a tongue the water just dripped onto its feet.
The inexperienced night-guard closed his eyes and opened them again, he wasn't dreaming.
With the drop of the flashlight from being in shock, the T-Rex stopped drinking the water, turned towards Larry, and roared!
This caused the man to run as fast as possible away from the creature, but it caught up to him, so he hid behind the desk and called for Cecil. But he was hardly any help, as he told Larrtly to read the instructions.
The first rule said 'Throw the bone' "What bone?" Larry questioned the packet, and out of the blue, a giant bone dropped before him, the T-Rex looked at the night-guard; patiently waiting. Larry picked up the bone,
not breaking eye contact with the T-Rex, since he didn't want it to kill him. Without hesitation, Larry threw the bone far away from him.
The T-Rex watched the bone fly across the room and chased it almost as if it was a... Dog?
While it was distracted, Larry tried to make a run for it, but as soon as he got to the stairs the T-Rex was on the other side!
It dropped the bone and nudged it back to Larry, once again, he didn't take his eyes off the fossil, he feared it was going to kill him if he did!
The giant fossil walked toward the scared man. "Please don't kill me..." Larry thought, as he reached down for the bone, the T-Rex looked like it was going to lunge, only to stop, and wag its tail.
"You play fetch?" Larry muttered, if it had a tongue it would stick out its tongue and pant like a... Dog.
These large bones wanted the bone in the man's hand, so Larry turned around and threw it once more! The giant fossil got excited when the bone was tossed.
It was so excited, that it ran past Larry for it, and slapped him with the end of its tail! Making him land on the stairs!
Boy did that hurt!
The sound of an elephant came from up the stairs, making Larry look around to see a mammoth braying in a doorway.
What on earth is going on?
