"Whatever," says Kenzie, becoming bored and walks off, Connor and Naomi close behind her. We watch them walk away, relieved they won't bother us anymore.

"Do you know how long he'll be out for?" I ask them. They look to each other.

"Um, it can be anywhere from a few seconds to a few hours..." says Kurt. I keep looking at him, thinking.

"Should we got an adult?" I ask.

"Not yet, let's just try waiting this out," says Alex. I nod, biting my lip to try stopping my tears. We move from the side of the dugout to behind it, to confirm nobody will find us.

Tyler sits down next to me and puts and hand on my shoulder, "he'll be okay, honey," he says.

"I know," I whisper.

"Alex we should get coach," says Kurt.

"I don't know..." Says Alex.

"What's wrong with getting the coach?" I ask.

"Punishments. When kids on our team get in fights, they're punished. I know it's the end of the season, but he could be banned next season. The last time there was a fight, they were suspended for the season." Explains Alex, his brow furrowed.

Alex and Kurt get into very heated conversation about getting an adult, and Tyler and I join in. Jacob sits on the grass a few feet away from us, taking in what just happened. We're about to decide if an adult is a good idea or not when Jacob shouts for us. "He moved!" He screams. Everybody runs over and leans over him. His lips close and open. He coughs and opens his eyes.

"Bubba?" I say.

"Ebby," he says.

"Oh my God are you okay?" I ask, pulling him into a sitting position.

"Yeah, I think so..."

"How you doin' buddy?" Asks Alex.

"I'm good," says Caleb. Kurt and Tyler help him to his feet. He puts his hand to his jaw, wincing.

"Does it hurt?" I ask.

"I'll be okay," he promises me, casually putting his arm around me.

"I'll call Katie to pick us up," I say.

"No! Let's play some ball!" Says Caleb.

"Bubs, is this really the best idea?"

"Let's kick Connor's ass!" Alex says, pumping his fist in the air.

"YEAH!" Jacob says, mimicking his brother and jumping up, his tiny fist punching up. I laugh and so does Caleb.

"Let's go!!" Screams Tyler.

"Lez do it!" Screams Kurt.

"Wait before we play, how do you play baseball again?" Asks Tyler, blushing.

"Stick with me, Ty," says Kurt, taking his boyfriend's arm.

"I forgot too..." I say.

"I got you," says Caleb. We all go out from in front of the dugout to see teams being chosen. Kurt, Tyler, Caleb and I all get on the same team. But sadly Alex and Jacob are on the other team, the team with Connor, Kenzie, and Naomi.
