THIS IS PART II OF "TRAPPED" IF YOU'RE CONFUSED, CALEB AND EBONY ARE STUCK IN THE TOOL SHED DUE TO AN EARTHQUAKE THAT JUST HIT. (IF YOU BEGIN READING AND YOU'RE STILL CONFUSED, REREAD "TRAPPED PART I")

The smell of gasoline is giving me a really bad headache, and my throat is beginning to burn.

"Caleb, I don't feel well..." I say.

"Me too, it's the gasoline. You aren't supposed to inhale it, that's why it's never kept in the house. It's kept where people won't be for long amounts of time. We've been in here for almost an hour."

"Hmmm," I say tiredly. I want to go to sleep... A wave of fatigue crashes over me. I put my head on Caleb's shoulder and close my eyes. "I think I'm gonna take a nap..." I say.

"No Ebony! It's making you feel tired. You need to stay awake with me, I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be falling asleep. You could die!" He says, panicked.

"Oki doki," I say, but I'm already falling asleep.

"No! Don't fall asleep!" He says desperately. I try to keep my eyes open, but I'm so exhausted. "Ebony please," he says. "Let me tell you a story."

"A story?..." I murmur.

"Yes, I'll tell you the story of when Annie was born. I remember hearing that's a way to keep people awake."

"Mkay," I say sleepily.

"Look at me, Eb." He lifts my head off his shoulder and looks at me, smiling warmly. He kisses my nose and then begins. "It was December 4, 2004. Mom was really pregnant with Annie, but we thought she was going to be a boy. I couldn't wait to have new baby brother. Mom told me we'd be best friends. But I remember I also was wondering what it would be like with another kid in the house. We were living in Georgia at the time-"

"Where's Georgia?" I ask.

"It's in the south," he says.

"Oh... Go on," I say.

"Well, I was at daycare and the teacher got a call saying Mom was going into labor and the teacher pulled me aside at said-"

"EBONYYYYY, CALEBBBB!" I hear somebody yell, somebody outside the shed. We look at eachother for a split second with wide eyes, and then Caleb's on his feet.

"We're in here!" He yells as loud as he can, but our voices are weak and tired sounding.

"I heard them!" I hear Joey yell.

"Joey, we're in the shed!" I yell. "They're coming!" I say excitedly to Caleb.

"I know!" He says, giving me an excited hug. He pulls me to my feet and we go toward the door.

"Ebby? Caleb?" I hear Katie say through the door.

"Yes, Mom! We're in here!" He says.

"Bubba! Are you guys hurt?" She says, "they're over here!" I hear her yell to the others.

"Not too bad," says Caleb.

"Oh, thank God!" She says, I think she's crying.

"Ebony? Caleb? You're in here?" Shouts Mum through the door.
