hey guys!

sorry i haven't updated for a couple days, ive been super busy with school... and THANK GOD today was my last day!!! so i'll be updating more often, maybe even everyday! well, actually probably not tomorrow... i have stuff to do (but i might have time!)

so just to let ya'll know, this WILL be in Caleb's P.O.V. so I hope you're not confused~

CALEB'S P.O.V.

I'm laying on my loft bed in my room, staring at ceiling. I'm supposed to be getting ready for bed, but makes me so upset and angry how Ebony was treated at Carter. I went there and I had an equally bad time. didn't have any friends that went there except Connor. Connor and I used to be really close, but then he joined soccer. He plays baseball with me still, but also soccer. He made friends with all the soccer boys and ditched me, leaving me friendless. Then he began picking on me. It got worse and worse and he got more and more popular, leaving me. He called me gay and a loser and weak all the time, and they shoved me to the ground constantly. He actually pushed me down the same set of stairs that Ebony fell down, but I was fine. Just a few bruises. Our Moms still think we're friends, and Connor acts super innocent around any adults. I should have realized that Ebony was going to the same school as Connor. It's just like him to pick on people who he might have a tiny grudge against, and the grudge for Ebony is that she knows me. Then Mom asked if I wanted to be homeschooled and I took her offer, of course. Hayley followed, and then Annie. Wait. What if Ebony was home schooled with me? Mom loves Ebony! I sit up in bed really quickly, and hit my head on the ceiling. Way to go Caleb. I think to myself as I rub my head and wince, then climb down the ladder and go up to the kitchen where Mom, Annie, and Hayley are sitting at the island.

"Hey Mommy," I say.

"Hey bubs, what's up?"

"Well you know how Annie, Hayley and I are home schooled?"

"Yes..."

"Um, could Ebony join us? Please? She's not having a good experience with Carter, this girl... Kenzie is giving her a really hard time and-"

"Kenzie Reynolds?" Asks Annie.

"Yeah..."

"Oh! That girl is trouble! She was getting all up in mine and Liv's face at a gym practice once. She's in the class after our Wednesday class, something about leaving sweaty mats!? We didn't even do that! But anyway, there was this whole thing and she ended up making Liv, Katie, and I clean mats. Also, I've heard her talk to the girls on her team, criticizing them like a madwoman, calling them swear words." She exclaims. That caught Mom's attention.

"Carter is that bad?" She asks.

"Yes!" I say.

"Oh my goodness! I need to tell sweet Ebony she's welcome to come over here and do your lessons with you, starting tomorrow! I love her and I'd love her company here!"

"Really? Wait like we can share books and everything, right? Like until she gets her own?"

"Yes honey! Of course! Let me call Laura right now." She gets out her phone and dials Laura's number, then I hear her side of the conversation. Then Mom laughs and says "Great! I'll see her tommorow." This is good news.

"Well guys, it looks like we're gonna have fourth kid in the house during the day!" She says, grinning. I jump to my feet and throw my arms around her.

"Woah, you have no idea how happy she's gonna be Mom, like NO idea!"

"Laura said you can go tell her, because it was your plan and she knew you'd want to be the one to give her the news."
