"What'd ya mean it's too late!???" Sonic cried out.

"Take a look." The .EXE replied with a cruel smile.

Knuckles, Charmy, Espio, and Vector appeared out of thin air with blank expression on their faces.

"Knuckles??! Team Chaotix??! What happened to you guys?!"

"I made them my slaves for all of eternity. You can do nothing the change them back."

"All your fault... All your fault" They started chanting.

"No... No... NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

Shadow's ear twitched. He heard what sounded like sonic's voice crying out.

'Impossible' He thought. 'It can't be him.'

He decided to go to Angel island to check on Knuckles.

"SOOOOONIC!!!!"

Amy's voice rang out in the air.

Nothing.

it was odd, usually she could find Sonic in no time flat.

Today she was having a bit of difficulty with that.

Wait... is that Sonic?

She started crying tears of joy and hugged his back.

"Oh, Sonic! I thought I would never see you again!"

"Sonic" slowly turned around, and Amy let go.

It was just Shadow.

"Oops. Sorry Shadow." She sighed with disappointment. "Have you seen Sonic around lately?"

"No. I have not seen that faker around lately."

"Oh. ... Well, What'cha doin'?"

"I was about to go to Angel Island... Before you showed up." Shadow said, muttering that last part.

"Ooh! Great idea! Sonic could be there, I'll go with you!"

Shadow sighed. Not wanted to argue he complied. "Very well." He said and the two Chaos controled away.
