Ashley's POV

Since the fall out with Charlotte I've spent every night at Liam's. I've been back to the house a couple times to pick things up and to see Sandra and the boys as much as possible before going on the tour. I'm trying not to get too exited about the tour but I know it's not working. It will be the first time that I've spent such a long time away from my adopted family and I'm not sure how well I'm going to handle it. Liam has assured me that he will take care of me throughout the tour and that if I need to have some time off then I can come home when I want. With one week until the tour the boys have a lot of press events to attend before we leave. Their most important event is tomorrow evening and Liam has invited me to go along with him. I'm not sure what to expect tomorrow but I have been told not to worry about it. The dress code is smart/casual as we have to attend a meal afterwards.

I've still had no word from Charlotte since she tried to tell me not to go on the tour. Every time my phone goes off I jump thinking that it could be her. I think I'm scared of what she will say next and I'm scared that she will try to hurt Liam or any of the other boys in the way in which she has hurt me. I don't know how our years and years of friendship could lead to this. This is not the Charlotte I used to call my best friend.

For the press event tomorrow I don't know whether to wear a dress that I already own or to go into town and get a new one. There's a dress in one of the small shops in town which I've had my eye on for a while so I may go into town and see if they still have it.

"Liam I'm going into town to buy a dress for tomorrow, is there anything that you want me to get you?" He rolled over in bed, the sheets moving slightly so that I could see the top of his chest. He was still half asleep so I wasn't expecting much of an answer.

"you couldn't pick up some paracetamol and ibuprofen could you? I've got banging headache." As soon as the words left his lips his eyes scrunched shut before he buried his head back into his pillow. The room was silent and I wished that I could get back into be pad again and snuggle into him to help soothe the pain he was in, but I couldn't I had to get to town and sort out this outfit for tomorrow.

"Right I'll see you later," I said placing a light kiss on his shoulder before leaving the room to make my way towards the front door. Seeing as I was at Liam's I wasn't able to drive anywhere by myself as my car was at home and I'm not insured to drive Liam's, therefore I have to take the bus everywhere. This isn't such a bad thing as I love to people watch and imagine what their lives must be like.

The bus ride to town was short and sweet. As its a Thursday there were a few school children and adults who were off to work. The shop I was hoping to find a dress in was only a short distance away from the bus stop which I got off at so it shouldn't take long to get there. Town is quiet today with only a handful of people walking around doing their daily duties. The shop I wished to enter was a lot brighter and modern that the other shops in the area which made it even more pleasing to walk into. Once inside my sight was filled with beautiful colours and patterns which are all cast upon amazingly styled dresses. I was looking for a shorter dress rather than a longer one as I don't want it to be too formal. However if I found a longer dress which I prefer to  shorter dress then I may have to get it.

At first my eyes fell upon a light blue short dress. It's bodice was strapless and all the fabric gathered into one side where there was sparkling details embroidered to the fabric. It was gorgeous but I wasn't sure if it was a suitable dress for a press event. I continued to look around the shop but none of the other dresses really inspired me. Just as I was about to leave the sales assistant stopped me.

"Looking for something a bit glamorous, I think I have just the thing," she said quickly making her way to the back of the shop and out of the door into what I presumed was the stock room. It was about 5 minutes before she entered again with a dress bag which had to hold a dress. I hoped that the dress was beautiful but my nerves were starting to kick in as she unzipped the case. The case was now completely open and I could partially see the dress poking through the gap. The reached inside the bag and carefully pulled out the garment. It was beautiful! Emerald green with one laced sleeve, tiny green gems embedded into the bodice. It was lovely and I had to have it.Once the dress was bought I went to the local chemist and got the medicine for Liam before heading back on the bus. I have decide to keep the dress a secret until tomorrow so that no one sees it before the press event. Hopefully Liam likes it and also the public like it.
