Yumi and Jay sprinted across the school yard in the dark of night. While Yumi could easily outpace the boy, she trusted his judgment to lead them to safety.
They stopped at a broad column. There, in the shadows, they discovered a dark-skinned space trooper and a brunette superheroine kissing each other passionately. As much as Yumi liked to see romance at work, her curiosity had its limits.
The four of them recoiled the instant they noticed each other, faces burning red.
