A small, completely drenched girl with pale skin, icy blue eyes, and short dark hair stumbled into a tiny, ill-maintained room at the middle of a dilapidated corridor.
There was not much here. A mattress on the floor, a small closet, a couple of cracked outlets, and a single lightbulb on the ceiling—there wasn't even a window—but she was not lacking in her needs.
Still shivering and breathing shakily, she opened the door of the closet, which contained only an electric kettle and a large backpack. Inspecting the kettle, she found that it was still filled to the brim with water. Good.
