In the function hall, the party had continued as normal up until the students heard what sounded like thunder, soon followed by the fire alarm going off, prompting the teachers and chaperones to put an end to the festivities and evacuate the area. They would come back for the stragglers and get to the bottom of this sudden ordeal.
"Bummer, and it was really fun too," Kim Sung Song told one of her friends as she passed by Kylie. "Then again, it was almost already over anyway."
