Her partner, the flirty, ditzy former SWAT member facing off against a gigantic humanoid creature with a shrunken head, massive arms, and stunted legs. This was something right out of an action thriller.
Octavia ducked under an arm sweep that toppled a steel shelf and its hollowed contents. She sprinted away from it and made it over to her partner.
"Earth to Bella! If you haven't noticed, we're in a bit of trouble."
