A certain amber-eyed Day Witch looked up at an unfinished skeleton of girders silhouetted by starlight. Her strawberry blonde hair was tied into a long, smooth ponytail. She was dressed in jeans and a black tube top, a brand new scarlet leather vest hanging over her shoulders that left her arms completely bare. She was the spitting image of her mother in her youth, a fact she was proud of.
Yumi double-checked the image on her phone to make sure she was at the right place. An abandoned building site next to a body of water known as Horizon Lake. This was definitely it. This was where Kylie was being held hostage.
