Sophia hopped out of the truck and stretched. She let out a sigh and glanced back at Iris. "We drove twenty minutes just to go shopping? We better be getting some amazing clothes," said Sophia as Zander shut the door behind her. They headed to the doors of the mall.

"I just thought of something. What if some of the pack members are here?" asked Iris as the doors slid open.

"We run?" Sophia suggested and then let out a small laugh. "That's our only option. Zander, you'll head for our truck and get it ready. You'll also use your magic to teleport the bags into the truck."

"Got it," Zander replied as they began walking into one of the stores. Sophia glanced around and spotted a leather jacket. A grin spread across her face as she ran over to it.

"I'm definitely getting this!" she said looking through the sizes. She found hers and pulled it down.

"Weren't you complaining about shopping just a minute ago?" asked Zander and Sophia glanced back at him sheepishly.

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Don't lie!"

"Anyway, I'm getting this. And that!" She ran over to more clothes and began pulling some down. She glanced around and grabbed a couple more things. "Okay, that's all I want from this store."

"Wow. Well, let's go get what we want," said Iris realizing Sophia had picked out the clothes she wanted within two minutes. Iris began pulling down clothes and Zander browsed.

Sophia walked over to the cashier and laid down her clothes. She pulled out her wallet as the girl began ringing up her clothes. "Will that be all?" she asked and Sophia nodded with a polite smile. Sophia opened her wallet, which was full of money. "Two hundred fifty-seven dollars and twelve cents." Sophia pulled out the exact amount and handed it to her. She grabbed her bags and began walking away. She walked to the back of the store and seen Iris.

"All right. I have everything I want," Iris said walking over to Sophia. Sophia grinned and held up her four bags. Iris held up three and Zander walked up behind her holding up one. "Eight bags and this is just the first store? Awesome. To the next store we go!" Iris fist pumped and began walking out. Sophia and Zander followed after her as they walked to the next store.

"All right. Let's head to the food court," said Zander completely exhausted. "We've been to every store, and I have already had to teleport at least a hundred bags to the truck."

"Mom's supposed to be cooking tonight," Sophia informed as they began walking past a large group near the entrance. They were passing it to head to the food court. A small draft drifted through as the door opened. Sophia's hair blew back a bit, sending her scent in the direction of the group as they passed. Just as it hit them, Sophia realized it. They were werewolves.

"Zander," Iris said going tense. A guy looking to be around the age of seventeen, turned around.

"Vampire, Warlock, and-Hybrid?" he said.

"Not exactly," Sophia said throwing her bags up in the air. The bags that were in the air and the ones they were holding, disappeared. "Now!" Zander bolted for the entrance as Sophia and Iris spun around and took off.

"Hey, wait!" the guy shouted. Multiple footsteps followed after them, and Iris and Sophia glanced at each other.

"Meet up at the entrance," said Sophia. "The one with blonde hair is the Beta's son. He'll be the next Beta. He'll more and likely follow me."

"All right. Be careful," Iris said.

"Always am." They cut off from each other and ran through crowds of people to make it more difficult for the group to follow. Sophia darted into a store and ran to the back. She hid behind a shelf as her senses went on high alert. She listened as she heard them walk into the store. By the sounds of their footsteps, six of the ten walked in. They walked towards the back, splitting up to try and corner her. Sophia glanced around and then looked up. A grin found its way onto her face as she thought of training. She grabbed hold of the shelf and jumped. She caught hold of the rafter and lifted herself up into them.

She began crawling across the rafters, keeping hidden from the wolves. She pulled out a slingshot and aimed it at the perfumes. She glanced around at the dim lighting and let out a small breath as she let three rocks shoot forward. They hit the perfume and the perfume bottles shattered, sending different scents into the air. She continued crawling until she reached the door. She swung down onto the ground and took off, heading for the entrance. She heard the six people walk out of the store, coughing and she grinned.

The blonde guy spotted her and chased after her. She quickly made a sharp turn and headed for the exit. She waited for the doors to open for a quick second and then bolted out. She seen Zander in the truck along with Iris. They were waiting for her. Iris motioned her to hurry up and Sophia glanced behind her. She realized the Beta was starting to catch up and she sped up. As she turned away, she noticed a small smirk grace his face. Sophia sensed four more presences, and she jumped high into the air. The four others collided underneath her, their heads banging together. She sent a smirk back at the Beta as she landed on one's back and shot forward.

The beta grabbed her ankle and her eyes widened as she fell forward. She caught herself on her hands and spun back around, kicking the beta in the face. He stumbled back a bit, but his grip on her ankle tightened. She growled and Iris appeared next to them. She grabbed the beta's wrist and yanked it off Sophia's ankle. Sophia rolled back and onto her feet. Iris dashed back to the truck, and Sophia turned and took off. Two arms wrapped around her waist and pulled her back. She went to throw her head back, but the beta spoke up.

"Don't," he said and she glanced back at him, his eyes changing between a wolf's and his own. "We don't need to cause a scene."

"It's a bit late for that, don't you think?" she replied catching her breath.

"No. And I really don't feel like fighting a kid." Anger flashed through her eyes as she slammed her elbow into his rock hard stomach. He grimaced, but didn't move a muscle. Sophia noticed the other five members walking out of the mall.

"Zander!" Sophia shouted and Zander snapped his fingers and Sophia appeared in the back of the truck. "Beta of the Moon Stone pack. Well, soon to be beta. I'm sure we'll see each other again." With that, Zander peeled out of the mall parking lot.
