"What do we do, Logan?" James asked as he approached Logan's group. "Since the soon to be Alpha's not here at the moment, the Beta needs to make a decision."

"Yeah, I know," Logan replied. "We're not going to do anything. They aren't on our territory, and the girl already promised we'd be meeting again."

"She did?"

"Yeah. We need to inform the Alpha. There's a new hybrid in town, along with a vampire and a warlock."

"That was way too close," Sophia said as she began hanging up her clothes.

"You think? They'll probably inform the soon to be Alpha. It's a good thing they don't know our identities. They'll find out when we get to school though," said Iris as she folded her clothes.

"I'm about to have mom just build in two other rooms for you two. You guys come over all the time anyway," Sophia said as she hung up her black leather jacket.

"Build in? There's two free rooms down the hall," she replied and Sophia rolled her eyes.

"Then why don't you guys stay in them?!"

"Good question... Zander!"

"I already know." Zander snapped his finger and all of his and Iris's stuff disappeared.

"Awesome! Did you-"

"Yes, everything is set up, folded up, and hung up. It's all done," he replied.

"That gives me more space to work with. Okay. Now, Zander, did you finish with our schedules?"

"Yeah. We start school in a few days. Apparently our break starts a couple of days before theirs ends."

"Ahh... Print out Carter Jones' schedule and Blaze Akins' schedule."

"Message me on Facebook or the other website if you need anything else," Zander said as he cast her a smile. He walked out of the room leaving her and Iris.

"All right! Let's pick out your outfit and then we'll go pick out mine."

"Okay." Sophia stood up and walked over to her closet. She began going through her clothes.

"You got three different leather jackets? In different colors?"

"Yes?" Sophia replied and then laughed. "I like leather. Anyway, how about my black leather jacket with my dark blue jeans, and my white flow shirt? Also, my designer brown belt and my black, knee high converses? Oh, and let's add my black skull beanie!"

"Sounds like a plan! What about your hair?"

"I'll straighten it."

"Yes! Now, let's go pick out my outfit," said Iris setting Sophia's outfit on the extra bed. Sophia followed Iris out of the room and down the hall. Iris opened the door to her room and they walked in. Sophia walked over to Iris's closet and began going through the clothes. Iris started digging through her dresser.

Sophia scanned over the selection of clothes and grabbed out a light brown, long sleeved, cardigan. She grabbed a white tank top and laid them on the bed. She grabbed a grey-brown scarf and laid it on the shirt. She stood on he tiptoes and grabbed down a brown fedora and tossed it on the bed. Sophia walked over to the dresser and grabbed out a pair of blue skinny jeans. She tossed them on the bed and grabbed the darker brown boots beside the dresser.

"Done!"

"Wha-How?" Iris asked shocked. She looked at the outfit and smiled. "You're always good at picking out outfits even if it's for someone who is completely opposite of you. Not only that, you work fast."

"Yup. Wear your hair straightened. Now, I'm gonna go get some food. You coming?"

"Food! Where?"

"Mom just finished. I can smell it from up here. Come on, let's go." Sophia turned and began walking down the hall towards the stairs.

"So the food's done?" Zander asked easily catching up with her.

"Eavesdropper," Sophia replied and he smirked.

"You wouldn't have saved me any food if I hadn't eavesdropped," he replied as Sophia darted down the stairs. She slid to a stop at the bottom and sharply turned, nearly running into the wall. She ran into the kitchen and grabbed a plate.

"Hey, honey. I was just about to come get you three," said Marissa as she took a bite of her food.

"What's for dinner?"

"Tacos."

"Yes!" Sophia grabbed a plate and made herself four tacos. She took a seat in the living room as Marissa put in a movie. Sophia started eating as Iris and Zander joined her in the living room. They watched the movie in silence as they ate.

Sophia lit her hands up with lightning and grinned. Since she was a hybrid, she had two or more different races in her. She began changing the color and sighed.

"School's going to be so boring since I can't use my powers," she muttered. Sophia was part witch, giving her the ability to cast spells and control elements. She continued playing around with the lightning until her computer sounded. She grabbed it and pulled up the Magical Races website. She clicked on her messages and opened the newest one. A picture of a vampire clan appeared on her screen and she raised an eyebrow. She scrolled up and read the caption.

"Vampire clan moving," she mumbled. "It looks like a vampire clan is living not too far from here. Just outside of wolf territory? Why so close?" She clicked on the picture of the leader and zoomed in. "I wonder what clan it is. Oh well. I can't tell from this picture." Sophia set her computer to the side and jumped to the ground. She walked over to her closet and pulled out her school bag. She sat down on a bean bag in front of the TV and began pulling stuff out of the bag. She reached the bottom and pulled off the fake bottom to show the weapons underneath. "Silver bullets; check. Stakes; check. Wolfs-bane; check. Well, I have everything I need. If I run into a witch or warlock, I'm on my own. I wonder if any faeries or other mythical creatures will be going to this school."

"Probably," said Iris walking into the room. "We need to always expect the unexpected. There more and likely will be other creatures. Every mythical creature has a human form, but we'll be able to tell."

"I know that. But-never mind." Sophia glanced out the window. "I'm going to bed. Good night."

"All right. Night." With that, Iris walked out of the room, shutting the door behind her. Sophia threw the stuff back into her bag and set it down. She walked over to the light switch and turned off the light. She crawled into her bed and laid down. She closed her eyes and fell asleep, listening to the rustling of the grass from the blowing wind.
