"We're gonna drop down here," Violet said and Sophia looked down at the river below.
"You want us to drop into the water?" Sophia asked as her grip slightly tightened on the Ababil's fur.
"Yeah."
"Why can't we just land in front of the Fairy Realm?"
"These birds won't land. That's why we had to jump off the mountain."
"Come on. This will be fun," Zeldris said as he tightened his hold around Sophia's waist. He used his levitation to make them float up, letting their ride slip out from under them. Sophia let out a small scream as Zeldris let go of her waist and grabbed her wrist.
Water rushed around them and Sophia began swimming towards the surface. She broke the surface and inhaled a deep breath of air. She glanced around her and she felt hands touch her waist. She let out a yelp as Zeldris came above the water in front of her.
"I wasn't ready!" Sophia splashed water in Zeldris' face and he laughed.
"And?" he asked and she rolled her eyes as she dunked him. He came back up and sucked in a bunch of air. "You're trying to kill me!" She laughed.
"Nah. I was just getting payback." She began swimming away and he swam after her. Just as he caught hold of her wrist, a shadow loomed over them.
"Cannonball!" Iris shouted as she landed between Zeldris and Sophia. The waves from Iris's splash hit her in the face and she spit the water out of her mouth. Iris broke the surface and Sophia shot her a glare.
"You should have warned us a bit sooner," Zeldris said spitting the water out of his mouth and a small smile tugged at his lips.
"At least I warned you," she replied with a shrug and Sophia rolled her eyes.
"WATCH OUT BELOW!" Zander shouted as he started to fall towards them. Sophia began to swim away and he slammed into the water, making a huge splash. Water rained down on them and Sophia laughed as Zander came up.
"You should have done a flip," she said and Zander grinned.
"I should have, shouldn't I? I didn't think about it."
"Of course you didn't." Sophia splashed him and he dove under water. A minute later Sophia was dragged under the water. She quickly swam back to surface. She waited a minute before Zander came up. She quickly jumped on him and dunked him. She held her breath as she went down after him and continued swimming a bit deeper. She let go of him and swam to the surface. She started laughing even before she hit the surface. Zander came up a minute later and wiped the water off his face.
"Let's get Iris," he whispered and Sophia nodded. They began swimming over to Iris, who was talking to Zeldris. They put one hand on her shoulders and then their other on her head.
"Your turn," they said as they dunked her under the water. They let her back up a second later, and she immediately splashed them in the face.
"Jerks." They laughed as she huffed.
"Wait, our bags aren't waterproof!" Zander said as he quickly grabbed his bag off his shoulders. He looked at it confused. There was no trace of water on it at all.
"Mom must have put an enchantment on our bags before we left," Sophia said as she felt hers. Sure enough it was dry.
"It's a good thing she did because I have a bunch of important stuff inside," Zander said as he sighed in relief.
"Like what?" Zeldris asked.
"His computer," Iris replied.
"Not only that. I brought along a few files and that picture."
