Sophia looked up and down the hallways trying to find Rae, Tyler, or Carter, but there was still no sign of them. "Where are they?" she asked under her breath as she reached into her locker and pulled out her textbook for first hour.
"They're probably just running a little bit late," Iris replied with a shrug. Sophia shut her locker and turned around. She came face to face with Blaze's girlfriend.
"You know, I'm not gonna forgive you for what you did!" she snapped and Sophia took a step back and the girl smirked in triumph, thinking she scared Sophia.
"That breath though!" Sophia said as she started fake coughing. Iris started laughing while the girl gaped at both of them. "Oh, who are you again?" The girl's cheeks turned a bright shade of red, her eyes filled with anger and embarrassment.
"My breath does not smell bad!" she snapped. "And my name is Hazel. I'm the soon to be Luna."
"Oh? So the soon to be Luna has already been decided? Well, you have fun with that."
"You're not even the least bit jealous?" she asked, confusion washing over her. Sophia, Iris, and Zander all looked over at her, stupefied by the fact she would think that.
"Why do you think I'd be jealous?"
"I-I just thought that..." she trailed off and Sophia rolled her eyes.
"You clearly have no idea why I'm here. I'm not trying to get with Mr. Alpha over there. I thought he would have told you that I'm from Hunter Academy." She let out a nervous laugh that sounded forced. Sophia raised an eyebrow at her as her cheeks started to turn an even darker shade of red.
"Of course he told me!"
"Uhm-okay... Why don't you skedaddle back on over to him then. I have to get to class."
"Who even says that anymore!" She turned and stomped off and Sophia tilted her head to the side, perplexed by her obliviousness.
"That was weird...," Iris said as they watched Hazel stomp down the hallway until she reached Blaze. Sophia, Iris, and Zander all shared a look saying, Let's get outta here.
They all turned down separate halls and headed for their classes. Sophia turned into her classroom and sat her books down on her desk before taking a seat. It wasn't long before she heard the loud thumping of Blaze stomping into the classroom. He slammed his hands on her desk and her eyes flicked up and locked with his.
"Yes?" she asked.
"Did you really have to go and make a fool out of her again?" he asked emphasizing the again. Sophia rolled her eyes and looked back down at her notebook. "Don't ignore me!"
"Not ignoring. Just simply not answering." Blaze let out an annoyed growl, and she smirked. "Is the big bad wolf getting irritated?" He rolled his eyes and she giggled as she looked back up at him. "Look, I didn't do anything. She thought I was going to be jealous about her being Luna, but I have no reason to be jealous because I'm not here for that. I don't even care about the Luna position, and I don't have feelings for you. I'm here for one reason."
"And what is that?"
"None of your concern. You should just go back to being the soon to be Alpha, and you can leave me out of your problems with your girlfriend. I have enough problems, I don't need to add an annoying girl to that list." Blaze rolled his eyes as he took the seat next to her. She let out an annoyed sigh as he opened his text book.
Sophia shoved her books in her locker with an irritated sigh.
"Whoa! What's got you all mad?" Iris asked as Sophia shut her locker.
