Sophia pulled a brush through her straightened hair. She glanced down at the outfit she had picked out and grinned. She pulled on her skull beanie and then headed out of her bedroom, grabbing her bag on the way out. She pulled it on over her shoulder and ran down the stairs. She grabbed a piece of sausage and quickly ate it.

"Come on. Let's go," said Sophia as she headed for the garage. Iris and Zander quickly scarfed down their food and ran after her. Sophia hopped on her bike and pulled on her helmet.

"Why in such a rush?" Zander asked and Sophia grinned.

"Because it's time to have some fun." The engine roared to life and she peeled out of the driveway at full speed. She kept her eyes on the road ahead of her as she heard the sound of Zander and Iris following her.

It took fifteen minutes for them to reach the school. Sophia pulled in and parked her bike. She pulled off her helmet and fixed her beanie. She climbed off her bike and grinned.

"Sophia, you do realize that we're not supposed to be driving, right?" Iris asked and Sophia shrugged.

"And? I've never been one to listen to rules."

"Good point. Let's head to the office." They began walking towards the school. As they passed students would turn to stare at them. Sophia rolled her eyes, and she glanced at Zander.

"Can you sense it? There are so many different kinds of Magical Races here it isn't even funny. Some of them have noticed us as well," said Sophia. "And one of them is the pack."

"They won't make a move yet," Iris said as Zander pulled open the doors. Sophia walked in first and glanced back at them.

"The Beta will if he sees us since we were able to get away from him the first time we met."

"I doubt he'll cause a scene though," Zander replied as they headed toward the office.

"Of course he won't. We're at a school full of humans. They'll probably try to follow us if anything." Sophia opened the door to the office and stepped in.

"Yes?" the lady asked not bothering to look up from her computer.

"We need our schedules please," Sophia said innocently as she smiled at the desk lady.

"Names?"

"Sophia Davis."

"Iris-"

"Oh, the new students. Here." She handed them their schedules and Sophia looked over hers. She pulled out another piece of paper and looked it over.

"Well, that was fast. Looks like I'll be running into Mr. Soon to be Alpha in first hour. Just my luck."

"You'll be fine," Zander said as they walked out of the office. "Lets go check out our lockers." They walked down the hall and an obnoxious laugh sounded through hall. Sophia glanced up and seen that the source of it was a girl with light brown hair. She was in a cheerleader uniform.

"She sounds like a prep," Sophia muttered as she spotted her locker. She walked over to it and opened it. She set her books inside except for what she would need in first hour. "Well, I'm gonna head to class." The second bell rang and Sophia smiled. "Catch ya later." Sophia walked down the hall, reading off the numbers on the doors. When she reached her Government class, she tried the door, but it was locked. She let out a sigh as she knocked on the door. One of the students opened the door and Sophia walked in.

"I forgot to mention, class. You have a new student. Introduce yourself," Mr. Caldwell said and Sophia glanced around until her eyes landed on the alpha, who became tense.

"I'm Sophia Davis."

"Ah, Ms. Davis. Would you mind telling us about your old school?"

"My old school? At my old school, most Freshmen were taking college classes."

"College classes?"

"Yup."

"Well, Ms. Davis, you can sit in the back by Blaze."

"Blaze?" she asked her eyes widening.

"Yes. Blaze, raise your hand." The Alpha raised his hand and Sophia cursed under her breath. "Is there something wrong?" Sophia sent him a smile and shook her head.

"Not at all." She began walking towards the back of the room. Her eyes flickered out the window and she spotted a shadow in the trees. She reached her seat and sat her bag down before taking a seat. A note landed on her desk and she glanced at Blaze. She opened it and read it.

Why are you here?

Sophia crumpled it up and it dispersed into nothing. She turned her head to the front and began writing down notes like the teacher said. She glanced at him from the corner of her eye and could see the anger in his eyes.

When class ended Sophia gathered her stuff and began walking out. He quickly followed after her. "Wait up!" he said and she shook her head.

"I'm good." She came to a stop at her locker and moved to open it. He slammed it shut and glared at her.

"Why are you on my land?" he said a low growling sound coming from the back of his throat. His face was near hers, and she raised an eyebrow.

"First of all, you're not Alpha yet. Second, this isn't your land," she replied. "Now, move your hand."

"Who are you?"

"I already said who I was." She pushed him out of the way of her locker and opened it. He slammed it shut again and turned her around. He put his hands on the lockers, one hand on each side of her head. She looked up at him since he was at least a head taller than her. "What exactly are you wanting me to say? I have my reasons for being here and it has nothing to do with your pack."

"Don't lie to me." She heard him inhale sharply and she raised an eyebrow as a mixture of emotions passed through his eyes.

"What I do is none of your concern. All you know is my name. If you want to find out more, you should already know how." She smirked as Zander crossed his arms. He looked at Blaze a bit angrily.

"Sophia, need any help?" he asked.

"Nah. It's the first day. We really don't need to cause a commotion, right, Alpha?" she asked poking his forehead. "Now move." He stepped back and she turned toward her locker. She opened it as Iris appeared next to her.

"How'd it go?" she asked and Sophia pointed behind her.

"He's right there. Pretty nosy. Anyway, any information?"

"I didn't have him in class. Let me see his schedule." Sophia pulled out Carter's schedule and Iris looked it over quickly. Blaze went to look at it and Sophia grabbed it and put it in her pocket. "I have him in third and sixth."

"Who?" Blaze asked.

"None of your business. Anyway, that means we all have him since we have gym," Sophia said as she grabbed out her Geometry book. "Zander, I need you to find out about this clan." Sophia put a picture in Zander's hand and he nodded. "All right. I'll talk to you guys later. I need to get to class."
