"Now, we were ordered to knock them out, right?" the woman asked and one of the other black cloaked figured nodded. "All right. A little bit of fire should do the trick."

"Knock them out. Not eliminate them."

"Shut up. I don't want to carry these three back, and I doubt it will kill them," she replied as a ball of black flames started forming in the woman's hands.

"Hell Blaze," Sophia mumbled as she struggled to get out of the binds.

"Did you say Hell Blaze?" Zander asked, alarmed. "Only the Demon Clan has the ability to control Hell Blaze."

"Well, we now know who our enemy is," Iris replied nonchalantly.

"You don't know what Hell Blaze is, do you?" she asked.

"Nope."

"Let's just say that it's a lot more damaging than regular fire," Zander said and Iris raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?"

"If we find a way to get out of this situation, I'll explain it."

"Why not tell me now?"

"Enough with the babbling!" the woman snapped as she raised the huge ball of Hell Blaze. "Now, die!" She threw the ball of Hell Blaze at the three and Sophia's eyes widened.

Dark figures shot out of nowhere and grabbed the three. They were lifted into a tree and the binds were dispelled.

"Are you okay?" the man that grabbed Sophia, asked. Her heart fluttered a bit as she looked him over. His black hair fell into his dark, nearly black eyes and it somewhat covered the mark on his forehead. He was at least a foot taller than Sophia and he adorned a black sleeveless long dress coat, showing off his muscled arms. To go along with it, he had on black pants and shoes, and double black belt. His dark eyes lightened to silver as his mark receded.

"Y-Yeah," she stuttered and he grinned.

"Really? You look like an imp that was caught stealing a cookie," he replied and her cheeks heated up.

"I'm fine!" she snapped with a small huff. "Anyway, who are you?"

"Zeldris," he replied. He grabbed Sophia's wrist and pulled her to him as he jumped off the tree. The tree lit ablaze in Hell Blaze and a tree branch fell towards them and Zeldris blocked Sophia as he knocked it away.

"Surprising to see you defending them, Prince Zeldris," the woman said and Zeldris smirked as he picked Sophia up, one arm supporting her neck and one under her knees.

"Really? I figured you knew me better Adira," Zeldris replied as he jumped into another tree, dodging another blast of Hell Blaze.

"Why are you protecting her?"

"I don't think my reasons concern you." He turned and his eyes darkened as the black mark appeared on his forehead again. "Stay here." He sat Sophia down on the branch as he lunged forward. Sophia watched, completely speechless as Zeldris grabbed the woman and slammed her against the tree by her throat.

"He's fast," she mumbled in awe. She was quickly snapped out of it by a dagger hitting her in the arm. She pulled it out and jumped out of the tree. She quickly dodged to the side as a dagger sliced past her face. She ran towards the direction it came from and quickly came upon one of the black cloaked figure. She slid onto her knees as another one passed over her head. She quickly stood up and kneed him in the stomach. He hunched over and she jumped above him and then flipped as she brought her leg down on his back. He slammed into the ground, his body making an indent of him. She jumped back and her hands lit up in lightning.
