"....What the hell?! Seto, what did I do?! If it's about the paperwork I swear I'm almost done!!" Ashley whined, not even caring about the tears streaming down her face. She stood, fists clenched on the desks watching Seto's eyes scan her features, but he remained as stoic as Brutus.
"Pack your things and head home, Ashley." "B-But Seto! Tell me why for gods sake!! What did I do!! What the fuck am I supposed to do without this job!!!!" She started to scream, and Seto hit a button on his desk to summon Roland into his office. Surprisingly, he stayed calm, just watching on the emotional tirade Ashley went on. "Go home and relax. I'll stop by your apartment when I get off."
"How the fuck do you expect me to be calm!! You just cut my main source of income!" Ashley screamed at the top of her lungs. Roland grimaced, avoiding eye contact with her, but looked at Seto for instructions. The CEO let out a frustrated sigh, and ran a hand through his silky locks. "Roland, escort Ashley to her apartment. Don't let her out of your sight."
"Yes sir. Let's go." Roland said calmly to Ashley and surprisingly she went without any trouble. The ride home was rather silent. Ashley cried in the back of the limo, and then spent the rest of the ride angry texting Annessa.
-He's such an asshole Nessa. He fired me. 😡
-I can't believe it, I put so much work and dedication for his company and he throws me away like some trash.
-wait until he comes over, I'm gonna chop his dick off!
-why were you and Mokuba in his office this morning?
-WHY AREN'T YOU ANSWERING ME?????
Ashley huffed, chucking her phone at the other side of the limo, and it actually went through the little driver's hole. "Sorry, Roland. I hope it didn't hit you." "It didn't. Mr. Kaiba says he'll be at your apartment around seven." It was as if her little tantrum was nothing to him. Ashley then wondered just exactly how bad Seto was as a teenager. "I don't want him at my place. If he comes over I'm gonna put my foot up his ass!" She could've sworn she saw Roland smirk, but didn't mention nothing of it. As they pulled up to the fancy apartment complex, Roland quickly jumped out of the vehicle, heading back to open the door for Ashley.
Ashley grabbed the box full of her desk supplies and hopped on out the limo, and Roland was quick to take it from her. He also gave her phone back. "Thanks!" She flashed her first smile of the day as the two made their way to her private elevator in the back of the lobby. She swiped the key and they headed up in a comfortable silence. "I'm really sorry for almost giving you a concussion with my phone. But then again you must be used to tantrums from Seto." The girl broke the silence, scratching the back of her neck sheepishly. "I've been working under Mr. Kaiba for about five years now. But I've known him since he was a twelve year old boy." Roland hesitated before adding, "you haven't seen anything yet."
She couldn't help but laugh, but then Ashley remembered whom she was thinking about. The man who fired her. And unfortunately for him, he just happened to also be her boyfriend. As the elevator opened, Ashley spotted Annessa and Mokuba, who looked all too nervous like this morning. If they knew something they were going to get it. She took the box away from Roland, placing it on the side of the door. She gave the box of her old office items a glare, as they were a reminder of where she once worked. "Would you like some coffee or a snack or something?" Ashley asked Seto's right hand man. "No thank you, I should be heading back to Kaiba Corp anyway. Mr. Kaiba will be here at seven the latest." The man reminded her that the asshole will be here in just under six hours. But honestly, she was looking forward to grilling the sucker. "Thanks Roland. I'll see you later." Ashley smiled at the man, bading him goodbye as the elevator doors shut.
