*I truly apologize for the time gap between this and the last chapter.*
Seto was awake nice and early on a sunny Saturday morning. He freed himself from his girl's arms, rolling out of bed and made his way to his doorway to the balcony. He opened the black curtains and let the warm summer sun beam into the master bedroom.
Seto pushed a few strands of hair out of his face as he made his way to the bathroom. His usually pristine and neat chestnut locks were in a mess from tossing and turning all night. He didn't get sleep, well he never got a full night's sleep, but tonight his mind kept racing. He took a glance at his snoring girlfriend sprawled on the bed, before making his way to take a nice morning shower.
He kept thinking about what his family. What Ashley will do once she's out on the road wrestling for WWE. Who's going to protect her? Duke may be gone, but that doesn't mean the drama stops. People will not only recognize her as the fourth generation wrestler of the Orton family, but more importantly, the girlfriend of Seto Kaiba. They'd hound her with questions, girls may try to harm her out of jealousy and guys may try to take her away from him. Maybe she shouldn't go travel around Japan without him. He was going to cut that idea today. She is in no condition to wrestle.
Then there was Mokuba and Annessa. They were going to be first time parents in a matter of weeks. Seto worried for his little brother. Could he handle this? Ashley and her father were pumping up Annessa, giving her advice when they could.
Ashley did actually give Mokuba advice. She helped him change diapers, how to feed babies, and how to go about comforting Bella. But Seto felt as though his brother needed something else. He needed more encouragement.. And that's where the big brother had to come in...

When he was caught up with quarterly reports,Seto made his way towards Mokuba's office with purpose. Since he knew that Annessa and Ashley were off baby shopping and doing party preparations with Tea and Mai, He had to speak with his brother one on one.
Mokuba was scrolling on his new Kaiba Corp phone when he looked up to see his brother marching on in. "Hey big bro! Everything good?" Mokuba said with a small smile on his face. "Yes. Are you caught up on your reports and emails?" The elder Kaiba asked, taking a seat in the loveseat next to Mokuba's desk. "...You know I'll get caught up.." Mokuba laughed, scratching the neck of his neck, and seemingly brushed off his Vice President duties.
When Seto did not give him a dirty look or chastise him for his lack of interest in being Vice President, Mokuba knew something was up. It was a good while until Seto finally spoke. "Do you think you're ready for the responsibility for a child? You're a child yourself."
Mokuba took a deep breath and sat back in his office chair. He was indeed worried. "I love Kenji and Annessa..I wasn't really expecting all of this to happen so soon, but I will be ready for it, Seto."
"Sure of yourself aren't you? Well...You know I'm always here for you..You have the support...Now you have to put in work for your child. I'll be damned if you become some deadbeat." Seto folded his arms and his blues stared daggers into his little brother. Seeing Ashley and Annessa's anger toward their deadbeat mother firsthand showed both the Kaiba Brothers the effect of that. Hell, you didn't have to tell the Kaibas anything about bad parents.
"I love them with all my heart and I mean that Seto. I would never..and you know Ashley would murder us.." Mokuba met Seto's look with a mug of his own, likes that the elder Kaiba has never seen. The look of determination, empowerment, and most importantly, love. There was a silence once again, before Mokuba spoke up again.
