Chapter 32

Two weeks later.

"You need to tell him." Seto and Ashley pulled into a parking space, and had started towards the elevator. "No! See, this is why I don't tell you shit Seto!" Ashley crossed her arms, and settled on glaring up at the young CEO. The height difference did not really help her situation, and it just made her look like a little girl compared to the tall business man. "It's going to help you move forward, you need to do it." "Don't tell me what to do."

Seto, Joey and Ashley made their way to a Kaiba Corp meeting room to finalize contracts between Kaiba Corp and WWE. Joey had been waiting outside the room, just on his phone texting Mai. Both Seto and Ashley were surprised to see Joey in a fancy suit, his mess of hair was combed, and he looked like a million bucks. "Lookin' good!" Ashley grinned at the lanky blonde, giving him a high five when he approached her. "You don't look too bad yourself!" Joey glanced at Seto and smirked, pretending to check his friend out.

Seto glared at Joseph, and as they headed into the room, he wrapped his arm around Ashley's waist, making Joey giggle to himself. Ashley and Joey were going to bring the Powers of Pain to WWE TV at last, with their return in a week. Now they just had to  sign the contracts and head to the gym to show the trainers what they can do. After that, a storyline will be introduced, and The Powers of Pain will be added to the NXT show. The WWE were going to be paying Ashley and Joey to work their shows and live events, and Seto was paying them to do the media promotions.

"Oh I hope this goes well." Ashley let out a sigh looking at the two men with an uneasy look. "We'll be fine! You really need to learn to relax Ash." Joey grabbed Ashley, pulling her into a nougie. "You're messing up my hair! Hehehe" The two proceeded to put each other in headlocks, giggling and horsing around like they weren't about to sign a huge deal with two of the world's best entertainment companies.

"Would you two cut it out? I don't know how you two have made it in the adult world with your sophomoric behavior! Stop acting like children. And goddamnit Ashley fix your hair!" Seto exploded out of the corner with a spear to Joey and Ashley (wrestling reference). Joey crossed his arms oh so childishly and scoffed at the angry CEO. "We were just havin' fun! Quit bein' a party pooper!" "He didn't have his coffee this morning, I woke up late hehe."

"Ew."

"No, we didn't have sex, it was cuddly night!"

"Awwh."

"Shut up, Wheeler."

Before Joey could retort, the elevator opened to reveal Stephanie and Paul. That was not all though, they brought along the Stephanie's father and the WWE CEO and Chairman himself, Vince McMahon. Seto saw Ashley and Joey straighten up quickly, giving their little professional handshakes to the WWE personnel. The seventy year old WWE CEO gave Seto a strong handshake when he finally approached them.

Seto couldn't have been more satisfied seeing how fast these two straightened up. At least they knew when they had to be professional. The meeting seemed to have started pretty nicely, and now the CEO of Kaiba Corp was surprised when Vince greeted Ashley and Joey with hugs.

"You squirts have grown quite a bit from the last time I saw you guys."

"That was five years ago at Wrestlemania 27 in Atlanta. We always had a great time at pay per views." Joey says as the six of them took seats in the meeting room. Ashley sat between Seto and Joey, and Vince gave a hearty laugh as the three WWE executives sat across from them.

"Now who the hell do you remember that Joseph?" Vince asked, giving him an incredulous look. "Miz was in the main event. We all know that won't happen again." Ashley and Seto glanced at each other, the latter giving an eye roll to the former. Although it was true, insulting talents came off as an arrogant move in the wrestling world. No matter how bad that wrestler was, there was an amount of respect that they were due, especially from "green" talents. Backstage politics were strong in WWE. Somehow, Ashley knew that Joey would have a hard time adjusting to it. He always thought he was one of the best wrestlers in the world, and that won't fly here. Some of the wrestlers, including Thomas and Randy, would have no problem humbling Joseph. She just hoped that it wouldn't effect her place on the roster too much.
