This is pretty much a get to know me chapter. Vacation time=personal time. Also, I can't go into too much detail because they're on a plane haha. I may go a little OOC for Kaiba (as usual). And anything about his biological parents and his childhood before they died are made up (obviously). Enjoy.

Ashley's POV

I woke up with the sun in my eyes. I hate that. I kept my eyes closed as I tried to sit up straight. This wasn't Seto's comfortable bed.

"About time you woke up." Seto whispered into My ear. "Where are we?" I kept my eyes closed. The sun was so Bright and my little eyes couldn't take it all at once. I rubbed them and got all the crusty stuff out of it. I slowly opened my eyes to adjust to the morning sun.

"The Pacific Ocean, I'd say we have a few more hours to go." I looked out my window and saw the beautiful blue hues of the Pacific. The sunrise looked so awesome! I raised the little armrest between us and decided to curl up next to him. Seto's hair was a little ruffled, and he had a blanket on his lap. So I was certain that he was sleeping as well.

This was a comfy long couch, and now I finally got a look of the plane. It was a decent size, one big enough to go across the ocean. There was a tray with breakfast, and now I realize how hungry I am...but I was too exhausted to move. Fucking sleep. I blame Duke.

Ever since I came home from the hospital, I've been having terrible nightmares. Sometimes I'd dream that Seto leaves me, fires me and I end up homeless again. He's been reassuring about that though. On some days, I dream about my baby that I lost. And that leads to Duke. But On really, really bad nights, I dream that I'm being attacked again. It feels so freaking real, it's like I can feel them inside of me, punching me and screaming at me. I don't know when they'll go away..

"Are you hungry?" Seto brought me back from my thoughts. "Yeah.." I started to joke with him, giving a feeble attempt at reaching over to the tray. I heard Seto grumble, then he reached over to drag the little cart it came on.

"You're so spoiled." He states, placing the plate of goodness on my lap. He left my cup of orange juice on the tray.

"I know but ya still like me anyway. Besides you're the one spoiling me." I started to dig in, taking a bite out of a sausage. "I'm pretty sure your father spoiled you and Annessa rotten before Duke came around. You seem like you had a good upbringing. Not sure where that attitude came from, but nonetheless, you're a decent human being. " It was nice that he always tried to get to know me. It just proves to me that he actually cares. Hopefully I can learn more about him on this little trip. Because I sure as hell care about him.

"Well yeah, Missouri was a pretty nice place to grow up. Back then, Dad couldn't afford a nice place in the subs so we shared an apartment with Uncle Tommy and Aunt Sarah. After we actually settled there. My dad became a wrestler when I was five. So we were moving all over the place before he went to WWE. We went from Missouri, to Texas, to Kentucky, to California, to New York then Philly, then Japan for a year or so and then back to Missouri. When you're in the indies, they have you everywhere. Thankfully Nessa and I weren't alone. Uncle Tommy and Daddy traveled together, so we were with Joey and Serenity." I had finished my breakfast, and Seto put the empty plate back on the tray.

I laughed when Seto rolled his eyes. He wrapped his arm around me, pulling me onto his lap. "So you really grew up with that idiot?" "He's not an idiot. But pretty much. There's a picture of us officially meeting when I was born." Seto nodded, placing a kiss on my forehead. It was quiet for a minute or so. He was going to say something, but he seemed rather hesitant. "Oh come on, just spit it." I gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Whatever happened to your mother?" I was waiting for him to ask. He never touched on the subject unless I bring it up. But she wasn't a soft spot in the slightest. "I can't really insult her because she gave birth to me and Nessa. And that was possibly the greatest thing she ever did with her life. I love her though, that was my mom. Dad really tried to help her, but she would just get high all the time. She didn't care what dad said. She didn't care what Uncle Tommy or Aunt Sarah told her. They tried to help her, they really did. I swear, now that I think about it, she did everything in the book. She left on her own though. She left in the night, and we woke up to her and all her shit missing. Nessa took it so hard...she was only three at the time. It made me so angry. I hear that she's wrestling in the indies. Boy I'd love to meet up with her and give her a piece of my mind."
