Connor's POV

After school had let out and it was night time.

Dear Journal,

I used the mind control today even though I didn't want to. I really do like Sage. But she was being to complicated. I know it was wrong and I told myself I wouldn't do it when I returned back home. But I didn't have a choice. She was being to stubborn. I know I'm the first guy who's taken an interest in her. I was there all her life. When she was first born, her first steps, her first words I was there for it all. I'm her protector. I'm her rock. I'm supposed to be there when she needs me most. After all she is my mate. Why can't she see that I'm the one she's supposed to be with? How can she not feel the connection?

I put my journal on my dresser and looked out my window. Darkness covered the area. Perfect timing to go check on her. I jumped out be window and walked around the corner. I climbed up the tree and saw her writing in a little book. A diary I'm assuming. I looked inside and saw her eyes shining brightly. She looked happy. Once I was sure she was okay I went back home and drew some sketches in my sketch book for the rest of the night.
