Connor's POV

"Who are you?", I asked.

"My name is Evan. I'm apart of the vampire council here in the city and I've noticed you have a human girlfriend inside", he replied.

"I'm going to turn her soon", I said.

"You are gonna turn her today or else there will be trouble with you and the council. Unless you want to go visit the king and queen in Aden", he said.

"Want me to call them?", I asked.

"Like you have their number", he said.

I pulled out my phone and video called Cole. he answered on the second ring thank god.

"Cole there's someone from the council who wishes to speak with you", I said.

"Name?", Cole asked.

"Evan", I replied.

"Okay let me see him", Cole said.

I faced the camera towards Evan and his face was priceless like he was about to be stabbed with a stake or something.

"Is there a problem with my friend Mr. Evan?", Cole asked.

"N-no problem your majesty. I was just-".

"You were just what? Threatening Connor and Sage? I suggest you leave them alone before we have trouble. Connor you have our permission to turn Sage whenever you feel like it", Cole said.

I simply nodded and faced the camera back on me.

"You owe me for this", I said.

"Ha funny", he chuckled.

"Cole!", Isabel called.

"Listen I gotta run. I'll talk to you later. Bye", he said.

"Bye", I responded then ended the call.

"Now we have the kings' approval you have to leave now", I said.

"Um uh no problem", he said walking away.

I walked back in the house and saw Sage sitting on the couch typing away on her laptop. She looked up at me and smiled. Her face glowed with excitement like the first  time she saw me. Or when we first got together. She wrapped her arms around me pulling me in a soft hug but I knew she was using all her strength to make it seem like she was trying to squeeze me half to death. Which is impossible because I'm already dead. I hugged her back being careful not to crush her and let her go. She looked into my eyes and I starred into hers.

"What happened?", she asked.

"A member from the council wanted me to turn you within a week but I called Cole and he told the guy off. I just need to turn you after graduation and no vampire will come after us again", I replied.

"You should just turn me now. It's only gonna make things worse if you don't do it today", she said.

I looked at her worried as heck. I can't do it myself or else I might kill her permanently. If I do I'll never forgive myself. She looked at me, he eyes as big as saucers. Pleading that I do it. I had to give in. I can't risk anymore danger for her.

"Fine I'll do it today. Are you sure this is what you want?", I asked holding her by her waist.

"More than anything", she replied.

"Alright. I'll do it" I said.
