Connor's POV

I can't believe she actually left. She didn't say a word as she ran off. If it was the cheerleaders I saw I'll rip their limbs off one by one.

"Do you think she's gonna be okay?", Mariah asked.

"I don't know. I'll follow her scent", I replied.

"I'm gonna go to class and make up an excuse for you being late", she said.

I nodded and watched her walk off to class.

I walked faster than a human would speed walking and found her ring. She threw it and left? Why would she wanna do that? I picked up the ring and put it in my pocket. I can talk to her after school. I heard a group of girls talking and giggling.

"Omg then she totally ran away crying", a familiar voice said.

"Haha what a loser. She obviously needs to go toughenup.com and look up how not to be a wimp", another girl laughed.

"Then get this she was totally hating on my hair like it's not my fault she can't be as pretty as me", the first girl said.

"Omg Maddie everyone adores your hair. Its just so um, cutalicious", the other girl said.

"Thanks Alicia and Sara you're right she needs to grow up", Maddie said.

I walked over to them and they all fell silent.

"Connor baby I missed you where have you been?", Maddie asked.

"Leave Sage alone or else you'll regret it", I said.

I grabbed her by her her throat and she turned blue. Her friends ran away in fear.

"Don't ever talk about Sage or talk to Sage ever again", I said.

I released her and she fell to the ground. Then made my way to class.
