Previously on The Vampire's Girl

"Tell your mom. What happens if it continues?", I asked.

"Either I change you now or you die", he replied...

Present day...

"You have to change me. Surgery is to risky and I don't want to die", I said.

"I can't turn you myself. You'll have to find someone else do it", he said.

"What do you mean by you can't do it yourself?", I asked.

"I'll loose control and kill you and you won't come back", he replied.
"Don't you have some kind of medicine that can cure this? Something, anything", I said.

"There is one thing but you might not like it. But it'll cure you", he said.

"What is it?", I asked.

"Vampire blood. It heals any wound within ten minutes", he replied.

"How am I supposed to get it?", I asked.

"Close your eyes", Connor replied.

I did as he said and seconds later I felt something against my mouth. It was sweet but sour. His blood. I took his wrist and licked the blood off. Once I finished I wiped my mouth and laid down. I opened my eyes and he was sitting in the same spot as he was a minute ago.

"Sage", he said.

"What?", I asked.

"Once you get out of here, you don't tell anyone about this. Not even your parents. Then I want you to avoid me as much as possible", he said.

"So you're telling me to stay away from you? Why?", I asked.

"Look what I've done. Just being with you for a minute puts you in the hospital. I attract dangerous vampires. If they see me with you they'll attack you and kill you and I won't be able to do anything about it", he replied.

"I don't care as long as I'm with you", I said.

"I'm not good for you. Neither is your friend. You shouldn't even know about us", he said.

"I'm not going anywhere Connor. I'm staying with you until the end", I said.

"Why Sage? Why risk being put in the hospital again and then what? What if next time you're not so lucky to live?", he asked.

"I'm strong enough", I replied.

"Kane is nearly as old as the head vampire. He's strong to. He could've killed you if he wanted", he said.

"But remember he said don't leave me unprotected. So you can't go anywhere", I said.

"I'll have Dylan and Mariah watch over you. They'll protect you especially Mariah", he said.

"What about you?", I asked.

"What about me?", he asked.

"They have to eat. You'll have to be there to", I replied.

"There's just no getting rid of you is there?", he asked.

"No. You're either changing me or protecting me", I replied.

"Fine. I'll protect you", he said.

Sandra walked in with a bottle containing a clear bubbly liquid.

"Wait. Something isn't right", she said walking towards me.

She examined my wounds and gasped.
