Chapter 27 Part 1(Edited)

Connor's POV

"Mariah I can't take it any longer. It's been a week and a half. She isn't coming back", I said. 

"Connor come on you just can't end your life because you think she isn't coming back", she said. 

"What's the point when she might not be coming back?", I asked. 

"Maybe she's just gonna take longer than others", she replied.  

"Let's just face it. She isn't coming back. She's gone forever", I said. 

"Come seriously. Look I bet you by noon she'll be back", she said. 

"No she isn't coming back ever. I'm going out and don't come find me. I don't care anymore", I said walking to the door. 

I took a look at my ring and sighed. I'm exposing myself and no one can stop me.

Sage's POV

Okay. Come on you can do this. Just move your legs off the bed. I opened my eyes and got off the bed without a problem. I saw myself in the mirror and was amazed on how much I changed. My hair was fuller, skin was paler, my eyes were red and I looked a little thinner than before. my ring was still on to. I wasn't in the same clothes I was in. Please tell me Mariah changed my clothes. Wait. If I'm a vampire will I still get a period? Hopefully not because it wouldn't make any sense if I got one. Dead people don't get a period do they? Of course not why would they when they're technically dead. I heard the door open and I turned my head to see who it was. It was Mariah and she looked shocked.

"SAGE OH MY GOSH YOU LOOK AMAZING!", she exclaimed.  

"Thanks. Where's Connor?", I asked.

"Oh... See he's going to kill himself. We thought you was gonna be gone forever like you died and you weren't gonna turn and he made a promise that he would kill himself if you didn't wake up within three days", she replied.

"How long was I out for?", I asked.

"A week and a half", she replied.

"Where is he now?", I asked.

"Probably in the city. You need to hurry before someone tries to kill him. Some people do believe that vampires exist", she replied.

"I'm taking your car", I said grabbing her keys.

"Or you could just run there", she said.

"No way. Now come on", I said.

We rushed to the car and got in quickly. I began driving way over the speed limit but I don't care. I need to save Connor...

We arrived in the middle of the city where there was lots sunlight and not much darkness.

"Here you're gonna need this hoodie so no one finds out about you", she said handing me a black hoodie. I took it and slipped it on. She also handed me a pair of sunglasses and I rested them on the top of my head.

"Do you have any idea where he could be?", I asked.

She was silent for a moment. I looked around and didn't see him anywhere.

"He's at the square but you can't drive there. You have to hurry up and get to him", she said.

"How much longer do I have?", I asked.

"Not enough. Hurry go", she replied.

I rushed out the car and ran at a normal speed so no one would get any suspicions about me. I spotted Connor a few feet away and he looked at me. I practically tackled him causing a few people to stare at us. They act like they've never been passed out for almost two weeks and probably wasn't coming back. Okay never mind that.

"Connor look at me I'm here", I said forcing him to look at me.

His eyes remained shut until he felt my skin. I saw a tear forming in his eyes.

"Sage you have no idea how much I missed you", he cried.

He gave me a kiss and sat up with me on top of him.

"I'm here now it's okay", I said.

He gave me a hug and another kiss then helped me up. I dusted myself off and held his hand. Now nothing can tear us apart...
