The next morning we woke up at eight so we could get a head start on the day. I texted my dad telling him I'd be gone all day so if I don't answer I'm busy. He replied okay be safe. I brushed my teeth and hair then dressed in dark skinny jeans and a black crop top with my black converse. Mariah was dressed in a dark blue dress with matching flats. Her and dresses. We drove to the mall and went into and went to at least 20 different stores. I ended up getting a black shirt and jeans with black wedges to match. Mariah got a dark purple dress with purple knee high boots to match. We didn't leave the mall until about 5. After we left we rushed home to do our hair, nails and makeup. Once we finished it was 7:45 and it would take us 10 minutes to get there. We jumped in my car and drove to Dylan's. Once we arrived I knocked on the door feeling more nervous than ever. Dylan opened the door wearing a black shirt and jeans with no shoes. Connor wore a dark red shirt and jeans as well without shoes.

"Hey you two look great. Come on in. Make yourself comfortable", Dylan said.

"Thanks you guys look great to", Mariah said walking in and I followed after her.

His house wasn't big nor small. It was cozy in a way. Red furniture completed the living room and the kitchen was nice. It had one of those bar counters and an island painting on the wall in the kitchen. In the living room, a 70" flat screen tv hung on the wall and a table was pushed against the wall. The table held and Xbox and three remotes. His family must be secretly rich or something.

"You like it?", Dylan asked.

"Yeah it's amazing", I replied.

"It's awesome", Mariah said.

"Glad you like it. Wanna play a game?", Connor asked.

"Sure", I replied.

"Alright everyone sit in a square. Dylan the lights", Connor said.

We all sat down and Connor sat across from me and Dylan sat across from Mariah. The lights were so dim that none of us could see a thing.

"What's this game called", I asked.

"Scream. Simple. We do something scary and you have to scream. Mariah come with me", Dylan replied.

I felt Mariah leave and this wave of tension fill the room.

"Ready?", he asked.

"Yeah. Promise this won't be to scary", I said.

"It won't. Now just close your eyes", he said.

I closed my eyes and felt his hands on my shoulder. Then I heard Mariah scream.

"Looks like Dylan won that round. Now lets see who wins this one between us", Connor said.

He titled my head and breathed heavily on my neck. What's he doing?

"What are you doing?", I asked.

"I can't do it. I can't. Dylan", he whispered.

Dylan came in the living room a split second later.

"I can't. This is wrong", Connor said.

"You have to now. Or else you'll be weak like my father was. That's how he was killed Connor cause he wasn't strong enough to fight back", Dylan said.

"Dylan. Let them go", Connor said.

"I already have the other one wrapped around my finger. She isn't going anywhere", Dylan said.

"Let them go now", Connor said.

"Fine. Your friend is in the room first door to your right", Dylan said.

I got up and went to the room where I saw Mariah laying on the bed looking a little pale. I picked her up and carried her out the room and out the house. Then into the car and I drove us home. Once we were home I put her in my dad's bed and went into my own room. Then put on my pajamas and laid in my bed. Tonight was a disaster. Well it's better than any other night I had at least.
