Strange whispers stir me as I slumber.
Midnight shadows take on strange behavior.
Is it a dream or is it real, it's so hard to tell;
But my gut tells me to remain utterly still.Do you hear them as well?
These unsettled demons from hell.Strange whispers now keep me prisoner.
Confined under a tightly tucked bed cover.
All my thoughts begin to turn dark;
Am I imprisoned or is this shock.Hiding among the shadow,
Is it friend or is it foe.Strange whispers now make me whimper.
Though these whispers sound so familiar.
Now until tomorrow, I will lay here in fear;
When light of day will make them disappear.
