When Darkness Comes

When darkness comes, sunlight hides, she runs;
And soon silence will follow, no sounds can be found!

When darkness comes, smiles change to frowns;
And soon fear will follow, as shadows raise from the ground!

When darkness comes, sweet thoughts all turn sour;
And soon paranoia will follow, within this twilight hour!

When darkness comes, your freedom is gone, there's nowhere to run;
And soon prayers will follow, until darkness succumbs with the rise of the sun!
